Nice to see the recent uptrend in ArtByte's market capitalization. It may be the sign that people are realizing ABY's true potential, in helping artists and musicians alike.

This will be a profitable journey for those early holders of ABY, and I believe that it could become greater if it continues with active development and innovation. All we need is just to spread the word out there about ArtByte, and the people will come by.

Nevertheless, while I'm excited about ArtByte's movement on the market, I would love to see some new and exciting features for it during the upcoming months. One thing that I've been looking forward to see is if ABY would implement the masternodes feature, as it would encourage anyone to support the cryptocurrency with their nodes, while at the same time have a positive effect in price as a result of the demand that there would be for it. But this is only a suggestion.

I've just discovered Artbytes, what a fantastic service for the arts... Not sure why I didn't see this earlier, been in crypto for a few years now. I've looked on the artsbytes site and I can see a sign up for musicians. Do you have similar sites for other artists that you are supporting, ie film makers, photographers etc...? Would be great to add the visibility of these sites to the main site, as clear as possible to make them easy to find. Will be investing...

Thanks for the update on ArtByte. I have mined it from the beginning and still holding, I like the price now, but I think it is headed higher!

We have been focused on other things and not advertising the music site much, except on Twitter. We will be adding the ability to buy the music with ABY or BTC. All the sites selling music for BTC are gone now. So we will have an interface where the customer can pay with either coin, and we will automatically convert it to ABY and pay the musician in ABY. Then we can advertise to attract those musicians who have heard of BTC, but not ABY yet. That will also introduce ArtByte to bitcoiners

If you have some ideas on reaching more musicians, we would love to talk with you about them.

any plans on how to get decent music on the site, have you been talking to record labels? i see no reason why they shouldnt want their music on more platforms

Lite wallet - With over 3 years of transactions stored in our current Windows, MAC, and Linux wallets, the download takes several hours. So to make it easier and faster for our new users, we are developing a wallet that only stores recent transactions. Of course all transactions are still available in our full wallet for those who want them. And of course, the Lite wallet will continue to include our built-in pool mining.

Improved iPhone wallet - A simpler wallet, designed purely in an app format for ease of use. Like our current Android wallet, this wallet is a simple, clean, fast app geared to mobile users.

Advanced wallet for power users - This wallet is made for traders/investors and will include direct links to all exchanges where ArtByte is traded, links to tools such as our blockchain explorer, news via Bitcointalk, Twitter, Facebook, etc., and of course, our built-in pool mining.

ArtByte Music Store will accept Bitcoins, as well as ArtByte - There are currently no music download sites accepting Bitcoin. ArtByte Music Store is the only site currently accepting digital currency (ArtBytes) for music downloads. So we are adding the ability to accept Bitcoin payments as well as ArtByte. Our music site will use an API that converts any Bitcoin purchases to ArtBytes, which will be deposited in the musicians ArtByte wallet. The addition of BTC payments will provide an additional service to musicians as well as introducing Bitcoiners to ArtByte.

ArtByte Gallery - The gallery will be a mobile device app unlike anything available today. Artists will be able to add media showing their work. For example, a painter or sculptor can show a picture of their work, a musician can upload a video or audio file, a dancer can show a video of a recent performance, an actor can post a video clip or their reel, a writer can include the cover and a few pages of their work. All types of artists, around the world can showcase their work. To make it easy for fans to support artists, the Gallery app will include an ArtByte wallet for the user. Also each artist's post will link to the artist's ArtByte wallet. So with just one click, any fan will be able to tip any artist directly from the mobile app.
