Hello,
I have the Linux CLI version of the wallet, and I want to know how to use the PoS.
When using the "getinfo" command, I could see my balance but stake = 0.0. Should I need a command to put some coins on stake ?

Also, if I remember, the PoS choose one client (ie, wallet ?) holding coins to get a reward. But how the client is getting it ? Should he mine it ? How to accomodate with GPU mining ?

Code:
Ultracoind getinfo
{
    "version" : "v1.0.0.0-apqq-beta",
    "protocolversion" : 70050,
    "walletversion" : 60000,

I love this coin. I designed a custom Physical Coin ( not finished yet ) , and also some Laser Engraved UTC Keychains!

The key chains finally came today!

I am listing them on a site I recently made as well!

I have it setup so I can manually take UTC payment ( can also take automated BTC, and LTC payments ), so test it out and let me know how it works!

Any questions, send me a PM or email!

-Brian Gleason

Really nice,might get 1 or 2 of them at some point

Thanks!

I feel like giving 2 of these away!

For the next 24 hours, anyone who quotes my original keychain announcement above with the picture and website link, I will enter in a drawing. I will randomly pick 2 people out of everyone who quotes my message to help get the word out!

SxC, consider yourself entered already !

I wanted to update you,  that both sXc and noobyonekenobi are getting Free keychains from the give-away!

I have these currently available, and I also have a physical UTC coin being minted that should be done very soon! Stay tuned for that!

I will also help contributed by donating $1 for each UTC item sold ( keychain, and coin once its ready ) towards the dev team!

In order for it to work, you also have to leave small buy orders as you go. This way other exchanges will arbitrage to CT price.

Okay, so who wants to explain coin control to me? Cheesy

Its when you resist the urge to sell your coin for cheap  Grin, just kidding. The Point-of-Stake does not generate new coins for you until coins remain in your wallet for a certain length of time. The Coin-Control function of the wallet allows you to keep the older coins aging and generating POS coins and also to just use the younger coins for spending or trading or... giving to me  Cheesy.

remove all sells, replace at 0.003!

I'm still kind of new to mining so maybe I'm not getting it. If everyone puts sell orders at .003 and no one sells coins lower than that, isn't getting to .003 impossible? How can a buy order ever be fulfilled if no one is willing to sell coins?

Those low buy orders don't need to be filled ever. Stop selling so low and make buyers pay more for the coins, that's how to raise the price. The buyers did not drop the price to its current levels but those who are willing to sell at such a cheap price.

Am I the only one who found this version of the UTC wallet flagged by Malwarebytes with trojan.installMonitizer?

I downloaded the one from xwebnetwork and it was clean.

Direct download mirror: http://xwebhosting.org/utc/Ultracoin-release-1.0.2-qt.rar

 I know these can wallets can give false virus warnings, but they usually aren't specific.

Ok will inform miners to update wallets.

However, all exchanges and pools must be contacted to update and be given links to new source.

According to the block change, we have 6 days for the update to take place. So all Exchanges and pools must update before block 240000 or they will go on their own fork. Exchanges must update asap so no problems will happen on that day. Exchanges must be informed immediately because none of them want to be on a fork when that happens.

** If you have UTC on Nitro or Nitro 2 please move to your new wallet or an exchange before we do the update.
A pool is not a bank and we can not be held liable for your coins on a mandatory update, please be aware of this.

@TheStuhlman

When is Nitro and Nitro-2 going to do this update ?

Please give is a time schedule so al miners on Nitro can move there coins on time.

Thank you.
