How do I use coincontrol ?

Setting my sells to 0.003 ... done!

I would love to see UTC going up but I think nothing really changes in the next few days Hope I'm wrong.

I think the changes take the coin in the right direction, it's a good hybrid POS/POW im now with a decent mining life before it goes to full POS

More importantly the devs listen 

only 6 days more mining with the high reward

time to make hay while the sun shines

Well, first off, thanks for the "strange, huge popularity" comment, that's nice to hear. The "pray UTC doesn't destroy the scrypt-chacha reputation" comment is pretty harsh. I would like to talk about this though, and am the first to admit that I'm no crypto expert and have a lot to learn.

I'm a huge supporter of crypto in general, with allegiance to what Bitcoin was, is and will be. I get the sense that you question the motives of the UTC team, which gives me pause.

I am part of this team, because it gives me the chance to explore what crypto can be. No one knows where crypto is headed, it's a great experiment in many ways. So I spend my time on efforts that demonstrate the potential of cryptocurrency. UTC has given me that chance. I want to do what I can to:

• ensure the profitability of mining UTC today
• provide tools to help the traders of UTC today
• demonstrate UTC's useability in real-world situations
• ensure a long-term model of viability for mining, trading and owning UTC

I also am doing my best to explore new wallet options, that make wallets more user-friendly; test multi-branch and parallel branch blockchain models; standardize code to facilitate plugins and integrations and streamline processes associated with all facets of UTC.

What I'm not doing is changing the coin model to manipulate markets. I'm not talking hype while building external apps that enrich the developers. I'm not participating in, or encouraging pumps and dumps. And I joined the UTC team because every single one of us feels the same way. We all want short-term success but feel even more strongly that we can contribute to crypto by thinking long-term.

So maybe you think we're naive (and maybe we are). And maybe you have information for us that will help. If you do, I am a very good listener and I learn more every day. I'm not afraid to say that I don't know everything. But remember this - naivety is not always a bad thing. Sometimes you need it to be able to see past what is and figure out what might be.

At the end of the day, the most good I can do is help people understand what crypto is and what it can be. I sure would like to think you support that.

HOW TO UPDATE THE WALLET:

Step 1 : Type %appdata% in the windows search box (you see it when you click the start button)

Step 2 : Find the ultracoin folder

Step 3 : Copy the wallet.dat into a backup folder, do NOT delete or cut it!

Step 4 : Delete everything in the appdata/ultracoin, but DO NOT DELETE THE WALLET.DAT

Step 5 : Download this file http://speedy.sh/YUcJb/Ultracoin-release-1.0.2-qt.rar

Step 6 : Extract the folder from the download somewhere,now drag the Ultracoin-qt.exe from the new download into your normal wallet folder (not into the  
            appdata/ultracoin folder but your wallet folder)

Step 7 : Click yes when it asks do you want to replace the file.

Step 8 : Start the wallet,it will now download the entire blockchain again (this will take some time).





-This update protects Ultracoin and its users from the recently discoverd heartbleed bug

-This update implements coincontrol so you can spend only the newest coins, and leave old coins alone for maximum POS rewards.

-This update changes the blockreward from 50 to 15 per block, this will start at block 240.000. This is because the old model turned out to be unsustainable.We are responsible devs, so we had to take action to prevent damage further down the road.

Slow loading of the wallet will be adressed in the v3 update (this is the v2 update).

I have tested this on 2 PC`s and have updated my own wallet with succes without compromising the funds 




The new reward schedule is as following:

-4 years blockreward 15

-2 years blockreward 10

-full POS (roughly 1 to 1,5 million coins will be distributed after full POS goes in effect, POS % will be 2% at this time)

So there will only be 6 years of mining in total.We are doing this to build a sustainable model and incoorporate an eco friendly strategy.After we have reached the total of 100 million coins in the final full POS stage, we will enable mandatory fees on every transaction to make sure people get rewarded for being an active node.





As a final point I wish to make : remove all sell orders and replace them at 0.003BTC if you refuse to sell for less then 0.003, this will become the new low, and everybody wins.The miners, the holders the traders.

With this price of 0.00007 nobody wins so stop dumping and let it rise.This pricepoint does not reflect the true value of Ultracoin.

the only reason we are this low is because of a defective supply model (whish has now been repaired) combined with hacked exchanges and DDOS.


I want to make it perfectly clear that Ultracoin is changing into a new better version of itsself.Weak players have been replaced by strong and capable individuals such as Dcgirl,xwebnetwork and Jakoblight.Mistakes were made but Lessons were learned.If i could go back in time i would do certain things differently,but im not a coingenerator making useless coins,so i made some mistakes.This is how we learn.

There is no reason why this request can not be granted by everybody, what reason could somebody possibly have to sell this low.

Let us join forces and bring Ultracoin to a pricepoint that is reflecting the actual developements, Team dedication and true potential.

In the future we will do more marketing,but we will never be a coin that is 99% fluff and 1% content.We will always stand for something, and once people are done with fluff coins they will come to UTC,and we will welcome them with open arms into the Ultracoin family.

Will it also fix the slow start up or is that fase 3?

Your comment tends to suggest you have an interest in other scrypt-chacha coins.  Which one and for what reason?   If not, why are you concerned about the fate of scrypt-chacha?
Those were real questions, btw, not rhetorical. 

You make a good point. I think I own 0.007 UTC. But what I said actually is constructive. There is a steep learning curve here. I just pray UTC doesn't destroy the scrypt-chacha reputation as there is a strange, huge popularity behind this coin relative to other chacha coins.
