So what your saying is all coins = failed?
Your about as positive as a flat battery, stop moaning and go enjoy the outside world for a bit, you obviously hate crypto Smiley

its to cold outside right now to go out.. im saying that a coin needs innovation to appeal in the long term not just a copy of a bunch of other coins with premine and a moderator to delete my posts.

If you look at any coin on Cryptsy over the last month, 99% of them show the same downward trend.  The market glut of altcoins is finally reaching a reckoning.  It was inevitable.  When people were willing to invest in every new reward scheme, every new coin that claimed even one thing over other coins, no matter how irrelevant to its acceptance as a currency -- the dilution of all alt coins was guaranteed.

Now with scrypt-Asics coming, most alt coins finish their death spiral.  There will be no new scrypt coins you can hop on to that can make you a profit as a gpu miner as one KNC will match the entire network of some dying coins or slow startups.  Only Doge and Litecoin will survive in the scrypt world.

So now we're seeing the the same thing repeat with Scrypt-N and Scrypt-Jane coins.  Since that's what GPU's can mine now.  Rinse repeat.

Accept I don't think it will repeat this time, at least not with the GPU fueled ecstasy of the scrypt run.  People are more jaded, the trajectory of a coin after launch almost always goes down, and after 100's of scrypt coins just go to zero, I think less people will be willing to support some random coin with cloned features again.

i agree.. if your concerned about asics i would join a coin like vtc or some other that has a following and a long term trend of stability as well as a btc trade history .. adding a little speed to the transfers wont bring this coin back up when you add premine

Does anyone actually know the owner of utc.pool.pm?  Can someone let him know his pool website is down for over 2 days?

It has died
Pray for it

It works fine for me.

fastcoin had the same idea of speed of transfers as well but has long since died..

Fastcoin uses scrypt algo, and does not have PoS, also the devs+community is not the same.

the devs+ community has worked so well for doge..

It worked well until Scrypt Asics arrived, same with all the Scrypt coins no matter how good community it had before. Same reason many of them is looking at changing their algorithms. UTC does not have that problem. Cool Also Doge transfer times was horrible.

so your saying take doge community (failed) add fastcoin speed (failed) add quark alogrimthm (failed) add premine aurora (failed) = great coin ?

It is not a matter of adding coins together, it is about making one good coin that have learned the failing points of it's successors. UTC have a great community, fast transaction speed, long term holding incentive by PoS, a well organized and documented pre-mine that serves a purpose, the devs are serious and intend to invest in the coin and on top of everything else is Asics resistant (for now). Aurora is in my own opinion not a failed coin and if you knew the history of Bitcoin itself it was in fact also premined, the genesis block of 50 btc still sits untouched. If you look at all the coins you mentioned UTC has already addressed the very problem that made them fail. It is wrong to say that this coin is dead because it is not, we have seen worse rates than this and bounced back. This is a volatile market and everything might come crashing down before we know it but the UTC community is a tough one and we will make it through.

nice try on the premine of btc ... even if he held the 50 that he tested on and never moved woulndt be close to the amount your devs have taken.. how many coins have you seen rise after 6 months to higher than there previous hyped highs other than the big 2 ? your investors have already cashed out last month when they got the most they could back out of it..

Anyone knows why we're barely listed there:

http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/

I mean: being listed with a market cap of 0 is not going to attract newcomers.
Can someone take care of this?

Thanks!

Veni. Vidi. Vici.
There is one intangible asset this coin has that many do not: a driven community.

Countless man hours have been donated to the cause of making this coin a success. We have come together as a collective think tank, organized projects, events, etc. And do not forgot, this coin is just 2 months old. There is plenty of time for success to be had.

Then again, we obviously cannot say things couldn't fail. That is the other reality. However, if we remain focused, we can mitigate the less favorable outcome.

anyone who thinks a premined coin will last is kidding themselves, faster than average transfers isnt a reason to think this will be the next big thing

Again, this was not a traditional pre-mine. It was done in order to fund the project. It was announced, detailed, brought to the attention of all investors/community members, and agreed upon well in advance.

Thank you for your reminding me
You are a good man
