Morning all,

Please could the community take a minute to send a contact form to pock.io It is a new service in the UK that offers gift cards such as Amazon, PlayStation, xBox and UK retailers in exchange for Crypto-currency. They appear to be welcoming of new currencies so it would be great if we could get UTC listed.

Direct contact form link is pock.io/contact

Quite new to the coin, but sad to see this situation with Nitro. Mining on Leet and we're getting 30%+ orphans. Makes for depressing mining. Is something going to be done? Not really viable long term if one pool has all the hash, killing things Sad

I'm switching back to utc.pool.pm, less orphan there.

DCGirl and I have been talking. She's bringing some serious talent to the table. She already built out that ticker we are using on the site and she is now working on an amazing charting system. Definitely looking forward to it!

Still much work to be done, though, as is the norm for a venture of this scale, but we will keep on perservering; and in the end, success shall be had.

Awesome work from the both of you. Just realised that with the 7,500 UTC now raised I need to change my signature, what should be the next campaign?

yes pretty low

I am getting minimum 100 UTC per 1khs at Current Nfactor

*edit* for 6 hrs that ok , I was thinking daily

i think nitro pool is the best but they dont accept new users unless invited so leetpools come as 2nd pool? Also according to calculator i should have earned 18 utc in 6 hours :/

yes pretty low

I am getting minimum 100 UTC per 1khs at Current Nfactor

*edit* for 6 hrs that ok , I was thinking daily

at todays difficulty I should be getting around 130 UTC / khs

I am trying to keep it over 100 UTC / 1khs or else its costing me to much in electricity I pay over 50 cents per kw here in Australia and have 40kw worth of rigs mining UTC ,
how ever been turning a couple off lately and running them in eco mode
lower core speed / Intensity levels  at high difficulties like now
I mine harder if  difficulty's below 5
well until UTC hits $1 a coin again Tongue

I really need to start working on a script that can change my mining settings based on Difficulty levels  / attainable UTC
but been busy setting up PXE bootable cryptoslax miners , that and trying to get Thirtybird/YACMiner working

currently mining @ 70% of my potential and should be getting 1900~2100 UTC today @ 15mhs
( out of 20mhs @ current N factor 100mhs scrypt )

Hi Everyone,

I need some help from anyone who's mining with 7950's. I have 4 Sapphire 7950s and I can't get more than 84khs from each one atm. I've searched this post for better settings, but none of them work. I'm using the settings from page 1.

Is this normal or am I missing something?

Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks
how much memory on mob?

1)Try 925-1100 engine and 1250 mem, also increasing the amount of virtual memory used by windows if you have extra disk space
2) or try increasing thread concurrency to 19712 but you will need to add --lookup-gap 3 with those cards, will proly give you less hashrate but increase in wu with more system ram being used

Hey,

Thanks for the response.

I have 8GB on the mobo and after reading some of the posts I upped my virtual memory to 22000MB. I'm currently running at 1050/1250. I'll try the 925-1100 range and see if that helps before increasing tc to 19712. With scrypt-jane should I be focusing on WU rather than the hash rate?
I found that 1500 mem was overkill, I got the same results with 1250 mem and less power consumption. Also hashing increased by setting engine at 1100 as opposed to just using the suggested 1044. 925 engine is stock oc for your card so cgminer will use that as a low default anyway but I just use the 925-1100 setting and keep autofan higher at 60-85 to make sure the vrm stays cool. I find at 60% fan cgminer does not need adjust clocks much to maintain target temps. I have yet to see them increase in speed and cards are at 60c or so. The wu is important as any less than 90% of hashing means your are producing garbage but wu can improve significantly with some settings even though hashrate drops a bit. WU seems to be more accurate for each gpu after running the rig for an hour or so don't just check it for comparison after a few minutes of mining.

My 7850 1G only get 57 kh/s, how can I get more?

overclocking - that's about the top hash for that card.  I've got mine to 60 KH/sec overclocked.

always WU , thats what pays the bill's

I could overlock my cards for an 10% khs increase .. but only get 1% WU increase ... with  an extra 30% more electricity being used

amazes me just how much more power hungry the cards get for an 10% / 100 mhz increase ...

tho faster ram is more beneficial with scrypt-chacha / N factors

guys thanks for the help.I have 3x290 and getting 175kh/s.What should be  WU rate for 290s?

u r getting 175 kh/s each of 290 or altogether for 175 kh/s? is that 290 (non x) or 290x?
each 175kh/s they are 290 trix oc

my r9 290's @ 940 mhz /  under volted @ 1.1 V their
WU gets  around 95% - 105% of my hash speed ( around 170 WU average )

each card is different ...

some cards with lower hash speed get heaps of accepted with very low rejects
others get higher rejects but higher hash speed
( so they kinda break even )
also a 5 deg variance between cards even tho they are cooled the same

Sweet. Really awesome job, I like how you used 'also sprach zarathustra' which conjures the image of an evolutionary superior coin. Small tip heading your way. Cheers.
