It's not the fastest wallet out there but I wouldn's say it takes ages to open It depends on your HDD or SSD. Maybe this issue could be fixed with the next update.

I think UTC should focus on micropayments availble in MMO's instead of online shops -> this could be stage two Maybe UTC could be associated with online games starting with Minecraft? UTC is so fast that payments could be almost instant. If we could convince players this would be huge. Unfortunatelly I'm not much of a player so I don't know where we can start announcing this

The primary Cyrptocurrency that will be used is Dogecoin, though Bitcoin, Litecoin and other forms of virtual money will be available to use.

Ok, so basically we have a math problem here. Invest UTC/BTC/whatevercoin in the short-term to purchase enough scrypt/X11/Sha256 mining power on the multi-pool to surpass this 43k coin-output threshold. Assuming what you say is true it's a matter of investing in the most cost-effective mining equipment to meet those goals and then reaping the benefits of the price increase.

From a mining perspective, just figure out what the hardware investment is based on your 43k threshold and calculate the return on the UTC price increase -assuming it actually increases as you're suggesting.

How about using some kind of contract/cloud mining to do it?

Things sell for what people value them as. UTC price will go up when people value them more. There is no gimmick of trick that is going to make pricing go up. If it were that simple everyone would make all their coins PoS, setup multipools and *boom* forever rising prices. It's just not that simple.

You don't need a multipool, PoS or anything like that to force pricing to go up, you need people to value the coin, speculation or otherwise, if people do not perceive a high value in UTC it isn't going to rise in an significant way.

Hey guys, btcpipeshop.com just started accepting Ultracoin for a month trial, browse their selections and see if their is anything you would like to purchase using Ultracoin! Looks like the pipes could make a great gift, remember, merchants will keep supporting Ultracoin as long as we promote them.

 I am going to suggest we change the way we interact with vendors from now on (it is much more effective if we write something personal instead of copy and paste). This could be from a single sentence to a few paragraphs, it is completely up to you! I will be updating the list tonight for the contact information of the next wave of businesses we will contact! Except this time we will have to get more creative! No more copy and paste, just a sentence or ten.
