I confirm, this is probably whatever interesting ego on another pool who found out difficulty was too high for him recently and organized this little party of his. Pour little guy who did not mine when it was easy because he must have thought the coin was dead. Boo hoo. He never felt the pleasure and immense felicity of cracking open full blocks for himself. That was excellent.
Would be good if the remaining pool would shut down for a couple of minutes.
I'm pretty sure the ddos would stop straight away.

I finally got it to work, I am using a new version of cgminer.

What kind of hashrate are you guys getting with 290s? Or which ever card you use?

I'm only getting 160Mhs on 290s which normally get me 800 or so.

I usually mine on greekpool but I guess they're down as well, failed over to Idcray (always a good bet during a DDOS) while diff has gone down to 2 which means more than half of the network hashing power is down. I guess I can't complain, DDOS isn't fair but not setting up sufficient failover pools isn't clever.

Instead she's been BTCh slapped.
Sad day for her and her "journal" who almost certainly banked a lot onto this dubious mid term fantasy essay given the apparent lack of scrutiny this article went through (would it be for ethics it would never had passed).

it was reported numeros times here that on your pool people get andmuch less then on nitro..me 2! I was getting 40% less then i should on your pool for weeks ..and then switched to nitro and i am getting like i should on calc.
I even test and lett to identical mashines run 48 hours ..each is 4*280x to run on leetpool and nitro at same time and guess what ..i get 45 % more coins on nitro ..same mashines ,same cards,same settings.
I know that 90% pools have hiden fees but your is insane

Ill copy paste you our pools configuration files and you can freely look through the code, there is no hidden fees. Flat 1%. I doubt youre configured correctly. To each his own.
