Some more intelligent speculation reg. cryptsy? There is no assurance UTC will be added. It is not listed that top 2 coins would be added - that would make it obv which coins would rise in price value and bigvern tends to steer away from hinting to which new coins will be on nowadays.

Maybe 2 other coins in top 10? UTC would eat shit on mintpal in that case.

Ah, but wait young Grasshoppa....

Crypto-trade is ready to open trade again.   UTC can be traded for USD and EU.

That is something Cryptsy can't do.

Current price uptick is from Both possible exchanges, not Cryptsy alone

Hey guys good luck with the voting, all the best on cryptsy!

Hi mate, same too you....

But please can you stop buying votes !

I have only 8 BTC reserved for counter buys if needed, but i prefer to keep them in my own wallet in stead of the wallet of BigVerns  Wink Grin

Believe it or not it's not myself or any other dev involved in the buying. I logged on mid-day to see this amazing surprise. Happy to see supporters stepping forward (especially ones with big wallets!) lol
both coins have great communities ^_^ CRYPTOLOVE!!

You have an impressive trust rating my friend.
Dare to elaborate on this?

Nah, I am using the patched CGMiner from  https://sites.google.com/site/rmdavidson/

When I put any thread concurrency onto the settings, I get around 10% hardware errors... Any ideas? Does it matter if my rig only has 4GB ram?

If you are running 6 cards on one system with 4 Gb of RAM, I'm surprised you can even get them all running without getting an "Error 4:  Failed enqueing...."  The 4 GB will definitely effect your ability to run that many cards.

Got 4 270s on 4gb of ram and my 2 280x on 4gb.. no problem here..

Next N factor.. maybe..

The secret is the Stilt Bios
https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=12830.390

I recommend that bios for 290
MBA_C6711101-100_K2_AGR_STILTMP_V34.zip (DPM7 - 1.2250V)

You can flash bios on team viewer
1.Just download atiwinflash to desktop:
http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/2311/ati-winflash-2-6-7/
2.unzip
3.put the bios into folder atiwinflash
4.Open the Command Prompt window by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking All Programs, clicking Accessories, and then clicking Command Prompt.
cd desktop
cd ati_winflash_2.6.7
when you have rig with 4 cards you must prompt:
atiflash -p 0 nameofthebios.bin -f
now wait ~2 minutes when flash is done, you must flash another card :
atiflash -p 1 nameofthebios.bin -f
now wait ~2 minutes when flash is done, you must flash another card :
atiflash -p 2 nameofthebios.bin -f
now wait ~2 minutes when flash is done, you must flash another card :
atiflash -p 3 nameofthebios.bin -f
restart system when flash is done
and wait drivers will install
restart
setup your card on msi afterburner beta 18
GPU 1040MHZ
MEM 1400MHz
Powertune +20%
and mine:)
If you have 4GB ram, you must upgrade to 8GB then your 290/290x will work ~180khs

I take it that those guys with 2 MH/s ++ rigs are the big boys right ?? I thought my setup was good with 6MH/s scrypt on 3 rigs... Turns out that it is already phased out lol

@bumface

Could you put at least these two links on the FAQ of the OP regards to hash rates?
We are getting a lot of new miners now and this question comes up way too often.

Hi!

Why that for me 2 video cards 7950 give out in general only 500 k/h here. Or is it normal for the booty of UTC?

Help

ultracoinminer -o ultra.leetpools.com:3333 -u ****** -p * --scrypt-jane --sj-nfmin 4 --sj-nfmax 30 --sj-time 1388361600 --thread-concurrency 16384 -d 0 -d 1 -I 18 -g 1 -w 256 --temp-cutoff 90 --temp-overheat 85 --queue 0 --no-submit-stale --scan-time 1 --no-submit-stale

Yep, might be right.

I've about 260k/h per 7950.

I don't understand how you guys are getting these speed... I am getting 70kh/s on my 7950... Not sure if there is something wrong or if it is normal?? I read here:

http://www.reddit.com/r/official_utc/comments/1z93t9/cgminer_configs_for_new_nfactor/

That these people aren't getting a high hash rate either ?? I am running the modded cgminer 3.7.2. When I put any thread concurrency, I instantly get HW errors so I have removed it from my line. I have a 6 GPU configuration and only getting 400kh/s! -g 1 etc... Any ideas ? Is there a new miner or something ? Intensity is 12. If I change it to 13, it gives me HW error.

Oh I didn't know that... What would be the recommended RAM for a 6 GPU setup ? I read loads of guides and they said just get minimal RAM as that isn't important.... But yes, I did get some error you mentioned when I put -g 2 and also changed the thread concurrency.

if we got cryptsy and crypto-trade is comming back, which exchange site will you use?

It makes sense to spread UTC trading across a number (3 is a good start) of GOOD exchanges. Their reputation and volumes will assist in uptake and arbitrage opportunities. A good solid momentum, paced as bumface has said before, not boom/bust, and theres a very good chance UTC dreams will be realised. A good spread is always a wise choice Wink

MintPal is doing well, it would be good to see Crypto Trade back in full effect and Cryptsy would be the cherry on the cake

Try the miner from the front page. It's specifically coded to mine UTC. That way you'll know for sure if your miner is the issue. 4GB of ram is definitely a problem if you're running more than 1 gpu.
