For 7950 go back to page 320 and look at post # 6385. There's a conf file posted there

With 8gb of ram you should simply go wild on tc until you are satisfied. If you have 4gb, well I am experimenting with lookup-gap 3 but g2 sadly is a no go.

I had that problem occasionally with a dual 7970 set up but it had 8GB of ram. The only way I could get it to clear up was to reboot the computer.

I have 2 questions about your conf file.
#1 What is the -d 0,1,2,3,4 setting for?
#2 What is the --gpu-map 0:1,1:4,2:2,3:3,4:0  used for?

That card's driver failed and then recovered.  Restart your system.
