UTC is listed in this guy's midddle term watch list
http://alunacrypto.blogspot.nl/2014/02/how-to-pick-trade-next-profitable-altcoin-bitcoin-daytrading.html

It just shows "Wallet is encrypted and currently unlocked".
Is it minting?

Sure

UTC going to catch vertcoin @ $4

Vertcoin has a 2.5 minute block time which means it's reward should be 5x UTC as payout/day for equivalent hashrates.  hence, at $0.80 cents, UTC will have caught up to Vertcoin.  I don't know Vertcoin's hashrate right now, so I don't know how the mining profit is comparatively, I do know they only get about half scrypt where this one gets 3/4th, so a little bit more conversion will be necessary.

I'm not saying it has to stop at $0.80 right now, but that's all it would take to be equivalent to VTC in added market cap / day.

VTC is not using scrypt-jane and first reward half time is much longer than UTC (4yr > 1yr i.e. 999,000 blocks).

And if we are to compare the total no. of coins. The expected prices are very close actually.

sorry guys i got a problem with POS
what i know is to keep the coins in your wallet
dont move them, and type something in debug, and you will received 20% coins during the year

what i dont understand:
do i need to keep my wallet online for a year non-stop?
if i got more coins into the wallet, will it be matters?
if i didnt set anypassword and i got 550 coins, what should i type?

(1) You will still get stake when wallet connect to internet. Stake will be calculated from aged coins. However a 24/7 online wallet will give max stake

(2) Based on my experience from another POS coin, a transactionless wallet generate  max stake. Because if new and old coins belong to same block the aging counter of that block will be reset. Not sure if it's the same for UTC.

(3) walletpassphrase command is just for encrypt wallet. If you have not encrypt it, just skip this step.
so what i need to do is just put my coin on my wallet and dont spend it,also don't put any new coins into the wallet Shocked  Huh
am i required to keep the coin at least 30 days to get the POS start Huh

Right. Always remember to backup your wallet first.

I am not sure. Someone said it takes 20 days for coin to age. Also hope there's official explanation about this.

one of my friends just tell me i can put new coins into the wallet
so who is correct  Undecided

As I said it's what I learnt from another POS coin.
You can always have transaction but there's chance lowering stake a little bit.
Maybe you can wait for official comment.

Ultracoin is now listed at place #23 on http://coinmarketcap.com actual market cap and volume are even higher as they're using coinmarket.io and not crypto-trade.com for data.

Is there any benefit to mining on a more populated server? Do you get more coins mining on the higher hash sites?

The larger the pools hashrate that faster coins are found, but the smaller the payouts.

Conversely, a pool with smaller hashrates, are going to find blocks a little less quicker, but your payouts will be larger. It is up to you which pool you like. Its a matter of preference Smiley

Thanks, it just seemed that when Leetpool went down and i switched to nitropool i found more coins in  shorter period of time. I should have timed it but i didn't think it would make  difference.

ofc nitro found more blocks and you got higher payouts when over 1/3 from the network hashrate goes down along with network diff

four hours and no block solved on utc.pool.pm.  I think we need more miners over here.

Could the crons be stuck?

What are crons? Do they affect what is being mined?
