Parity doesn't give you the option of using another node from what I can tell. Even if it did, the issue is on their side, isn't it? I doubt I'd have time to transfer funds to another wallet (like MEW) and try that instead. Frustrating that this isn't as simple as it should be.

You know, the funny thing is this was known from the beginning and a big criticism of it. And because of this criticism I didn't go as crazy for the Ethereum ICO and didn't think about it all the time and missed it by a day. Ended up never buying Ethereum because I figured the low throughput would cause people to abandon it, but I didn't think this ICO mania would pump the price like this, lol.

It's a good investment because more than 50% of the people won't get in regardless of the 1 hour period.
