Back in 2011 20% of the Bitcoin was minted. the price was between 1$ and 10$.... guess what....

I like such comparison with Bitcoin and 2010 yy and so on  Grin They are funny ) But the problem is tha now is not a 2011 and we have thousands different coins

Crypto in essence, since the bitcoin, was addressed to become anonymous/private decentralized, without any middleman, payment system.
But as we are all aware, bitcoin is not private at all, every transaction is transparent on the blockchain and tracking of users, funds and their activities are fully available nowadays.

The more people will recognise crypto, the more they will seek for the best private solution.
Only 1% of all crypto market cap belongs to “private” coins, beam is at the start and having less than 1% of all "private" market cap projects at the moment.

So please don't underestimate the market price... it can be easily more then 10$, once people realize how private they want to keep and manage their digital assets...

I completely agree with this reasoning. Personally I think the price of Beam can reach + $ 50. Easily. But we must leave time to time.

And BEAM is not Bitcoin... Bitcoin had the support of a few rich people because it was something revolutionary and it captivated people... now the space is too saturated.

Our comments on recent Mimblewimble Privacy attack and why it won’t work with Beam http://medium.com/beam-mw/will-breaking-mimblewimbles-privacy-model-work-on-beam-9125bc2ee863

I don't know if this should be called an "attack", since it doesn't harm anyone directly. It is however a possible "privacy hole", one that would be hard to actually achieve but sounds possible in theory.
Nice idea of putting 0 value dummies though, I don't know why GRIN didn't implement it.

I guess it has the downside of increasing the blockchain's size, maybe that's why GRIN didn't like it? In any case it's good to have some separations between the two projects.

Who use beam wallet for android?
I just want to ask if you can recover your wallet from the desktop wallet and import it to the android wallet?
Does the android wallet need to fully sync?

I have a backup seed generated from my old PC the reason why I like to recover it to the Android wallet because my PC is stuck in windows and I would like to withdraw my remaining balance from leafpool.

BEAM is my leading mining coin since start in Jan 2019!

First block halving is precisely one year after, mine this coin while you can and hold, prepare for Jan 2020!

I will just add some thoughts why this coin must pass at least $10 price level:

1. Superb privacy, finally we have PoW bloated free true anonymous blockchain - solving Satoshi's addressed concerns in his white-paper
2. Wallet with atomic swap, all private coins must have an option not to go over centralized exchanges, beam offer this natively without 3rd party or middleman
3. Offline payments, receiver doesn't need to keep wallet online in the moment of the transaction
4. Tokenization platform, imagine the possibility to exchange ownership of any digital asset in truly private manner
5. Excellence dev team, one of the most efficient if not the most efficient dev team in the space
6. Foundation backed by treasury, steered by credible people from community
...

Right now only 45 mln out of 252 mln coins in circulating. So just 20% in circulating and 80% will be minted. And you predict 10$ per coin... this is just your wishes  Grin

Doomed to see the future and unable to prevent it
Looks like mimblewimble is broken, 96% of transactions traceable in first chain test.

Any comment on this?

Breaking Mimblewimble’s Privacy Model

TL;DR: Mimblewimble’s privacy is fundamentally flawed. Using only $60/week of AWS spend, I was able to uncover the exact addresses of senders and recipients for 96% Grin transactions in real time.
The problem is inherent to Mimblewimble, and I don’t believe there’s a way to fix it. This means Mimblewimble should no longer be considered a viable alternative to Zcash or Monero when it comes to privacy.
