The initial post has errors so I corrected it. Guy Corem, please update the initial post when you have time.

That post is very informative, and gives lots of necessary links for new visitors in the ANN thread of BEAM. Investors will see its helpfulness.

Hello BEAM! i have a wallet for almost a year working on my computer. I was just going to ask (sorry being lazy and asking here Smiley ) Can i install a wallet on an external hard drive and then disconnect it when I don't want to use it? Also, if I just move the current wallet files to the external hard drive would it work? Thank!

I am mining BEAM on leaf pool.

I am mining it to a receiving address I set to never expire on a wallet in my harddrive #1.

I installed a new harddrive #2 and installed the BEAM wallet. How do I transfer the old receiving address to my new wallet? is it possible?
Use the procedure described here to export and import addresses:

nevermind I figured it out. I had to copy the wallet.db from drive #1 to drive #2

Our weekly update is ready Beamers. And it is full of good stuff! https://beamprivacy.substack.com/p/beam-2020-week-2-whats-up
From all given information in the week2's news update, I most like that one, the Double Doppler 4.2. It has been developing by BEAM team.
This page is also helpful to keep tracking the developments of BEAM project, BEAMers should note it in their notebooks.

I am not clear at this point, Wallet ID, so please help me if you have time.
For this purpose we need to add WalletID, as a second identifier used in wallet communications. WalletID will only be stored in the 'Secret Keeping' part of the software and used to sign and verify wallet to wallet communications
