Any comment on this?

Breaking Mimblewimble’s Privacy Model

TL;DR: Mimblewimble’s privacy is fundamentally flawed. Using only $60/week of AWS spend, I was able to uncover the exact addresses of senders and recipients for 96% Grin transactions in real time.
The problem is inherent to Mimblewimble, and I don’t believe there’s a way to fix it. This means Mimblewimble should no longer be considered a viable alternative to Zcash or Monero when it comes to privacy.

BEAM is my leading mining coin since start in Jan 2019!

First block halving is precisely one year after, mine this coin while you can and hold, prepare for Jan 2020!

I will just add some thoughts why this coin must pass at least $10 price level:

1. Superb privacy, finally we have PoW bloated free true anonymous blockchain - solving Satoshi's addressed concerns in his white-paper
2. Wallet with atomic swap, all private coins must have an option not to go over centralized exchanges, beam offer this natively without 3rd party or middleman
3. Offline payments, receiver doesn't need to keep wallet online in the moment of the transaction
4. Tokenization platform, imagine the possibility to exchange ownership of any digital asset in truly private manner
5. Excellence dev team, one of the most efficient if not the most efficient dev team in the space
6. Foundation backed by treasury, steered by credible people from community
...

Nice summary Rentahash!
I'm also in since day 1 and confident with the future.

For me the wallet with atomic swap will be a breakthrough functionality
Unfortunately, now you won’t surprise anyone with an atomic swap. This is not so important for the development of the project and the formation of the value of BEAM coins.

I disagree with you, please compare or name any PoW "privacy" coin which has atomic swap natively from its wallet and explain, if exists, how that didn't help with creating its value?

Thnx in advance.

All these your calculations and assumptions are possible only in the bull market and the price of bitcoin is more than $ 20,000. In a falling market, even halving will not have a positive effect. But I still mining Beam and wait for the bull rally.

Hi there,
I'm newly interested into BEAM. I would like to know if BEAM validator nodes are also rewarded or are they running rewardless? Is there a colleteral invest required? Thanks in advice Smiley

Fantastic week for Team Beam with the release of the community-made BeamPay, a payment processor for Beam. beamprivacy.substack.com/p/beam-2019-week-44-beampay
The release of community-made application, namely BeamPay, that published as news 2 days ago, is just one of reasons for the recent explosion of BEAM. There are other reasons as I knew, from the new upwards trend of Mimblewimble coins (Grincoin and BEAM are best presentatives, shit forked coins excluded) to general rallies of altcoins.

Due to recent serious correction, I expect BEAM will bounce back strongly from its temp price.

It seemed to be bad for them to be listed in Binance.

Everything was going well before they joined Binance. But Binance really didn't help them.

I don't think a cryptocurrency should ever get into exchanges like Binance before it gets strong enough and creates its own whales.

If not, the result can be bad.
I do not think that the price of Beam slipped due to listing on Binance. It just so happened, now there is a global correction of the entire crypto market. Accordingly, local corrections cannot be avoided, but as a rule they are followed by a rise.

I agree with you, not always a major exchange, it will be better for a young coin. At least in such an unstable market. But still this is not a collapse, but only the beginning of the path.

It is always right to see price corrected dramatically after exponential pumps to overvalued price. Bitcoin, Ethereum, DASH, Monero and more good crytocurrency have to correct after hit their all time high, no matter which exchanges list them.

I don't call Binance is the root cause of BEAM's decreases over recent months. The coin has decreased so far as rule of supply & demand that also supports by necessary corrections. Corrections are necessary things to help price moving upwards again. No coin can rise without falls.

What a great morning! We start this day with our latest release, Beam Wallet iOS 3.1 Clear Cathode. Enjoy Beamers! https://medium.com/beam-mw/clear-cathode-3-1-ios-release-notes-c4cc26d8e397
The newest upgrade for iOS, with the version 3.1, is another upgrade that shows the very strong dedication of BEAM team to develop this project. I believe that if the BEAM team maintain their good development and upgrade pace, the project will grow very fastly at the speed of light. BEAM will sooner or later shine as bunches beam of light.

What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger
Another week, a lot of achievements and a strong spirit! This is Beam! https://beamprivacy.substack.com/p/beam-2019-week-43-zk-proof-amsterdam

Good job with the adoption, but those small collaborations are easy to be made.
I hope you can achieve something bigger, with a company that is not just desperate to get known through you.
