I'd advise you contact hotbit. I did a successful trade on chainrift this morning and the transaction and tx went through flawlessly, in minutes.

It looks to me like some 90%+ of the BEAM "trade" at Hotbit is fake. What do you guys think.

Interesting read. Ok, I hope it wasn't me that caused this, but I did bring up a backup of version of my wallet today. Here's what happened. After upgrading my wallet to version 1.1.4201, something went horribly wrong. When the wallet came up, the balance was listed as 0, and all previous transactions show up as 'failed'. So, I went through the wallet restore process....which worked. However, receiving addresses aren't restored through this process. Looking through the BEAM documentation, I couldn't find any method to dump a private key address from a wallet file. I needed to receive my last payout from leafpool.com on my old address. So, I  brought up a backed up version of the wallet (pre-upgrade) online. And it worked. It was a bit strange that the new wallet also received the funds as well (which I discovered later on)  so I didn't need to transfer the funds from the old wallet to the new wallet. I have no idea how that's even possible. In any case I deleted the old wallet file afterwards.
**I just want to point out both wallets were never online at the same time.
It would be nice if the devs could create a function to dump + import addresses between wallet files.

The fix was committed on Github. We will be performing additional testing. We will release the binaries in the coming hours. Thanks for your patience.

The node ist not a GUI wallet, and the deb packackes needs root access for installation.

For security reasons I have running all my wallets in separate accounts, and installed without root access (tar or zip packages).

At this time I have run the deb package in a dedicated VM, but the resource consumption is a little bit high this way.

You are welcome.

 Huh

Btw if you think installing a package dedicated for an operating system is classed as "high resource consumption" then you should definitely educate yourself in this area.

So, you have no doubt to recommend every wallet user, who has trust into a coin, to install the wallet with root permission?

Hi guys,
i tried a transaction of hotbit to my wallet version 1.1.4194 in a "never expire" address. In hotbit the status of transaction is complete, but in the wallet the transaction is failed. What could have happened? Is there any chance of me get back my BEAMs?
