I've been watching this for a while and scratching my head. I'm not sure I understand what this coin is about other than a vague connection to 'games' but what I have gathered is it's a coin for game developers or people to use in games? Not sure if I am correct. The following is written under that presumption, if I'm wrong then it's completely null:
As a game developer myself what benefit would this coin be to me if I adopted this coin for usage in my games? Bigup has a strange name, with a person shouting BigUp Ya'll after the majority of replies as opposed to replying with down to earth commentary. It also purports to want to do something that a more reputable company with transparency is already doing called Gamecredits, ranked #28 in currency. Gamecredits has a well-done website, a facebook and twitter. All the articles I see about Bigup are written by bigup itself or it's the same article pasted across the net. Virtually no one else is writing about it. So I'm not sure where the excitement is coming from and why people are suddenly trusting of it especially with all the coins that are in the market and logistics.
With all the other coins in the market what makes Bigup so special or different? What does it have that the other coins don't have (other than enthusiastic 'hype' and a 'Big' name that sounds like a slurpee you'd get at 7/11). Why is it BigUp would succeed in today's environment? And where would it expect to see itself in the future? Not even sure how BigUp would compete with what's out there already...
If given a choice to use gamecredits or BigUp why would I or any game developer choose Bigup over a more legitimate and transparent name? As a gamer why would I purchase Bigup in a game over something like Gamecredits. Maybe I am understanding the intentions of bigup. But I'm baffled enough about this sinc there's already a good company doing the same and up higher in the ranks than Bigup and so made an account just to ask this question.
Would love some clarification...
You're overthinking it.
There has been no real development and there is no real use.
Its just a whole heap of buzz words, fluff and a few paid news site articles/ads. The code is not unique in any way. The gaming aspect is just pure fluff to try and entice unsuspecting noobs to load up the buy support.
The entire purpose of this project is/was two fold and it has jack shit to do with gaming;
1) Dev sells a Yobit ICO and pockets a few BTC up front.
2) Dev hypes and promises the world, hoping to draw in some buy support to start unloading his premine on. He has even admitted as such, many pages back saying its time for the premine dumping to begin soon.
There really is nothing more to it, its a standard play I've seen countless times ever since the shitcoins started being cloned en masse back in mid 2013.
