We've been working hard on development, partnerships and exchange additions for VeriCoin and Verium. We will have multiple announcements over the coming weeks

A team member really should post updates here from time to time. Really not much usefull coming in this thread, and bitcointalk is the main source for information for alot of us Smiley

True, if slack can redirect converations over bitcointalk posts we should be already near to 7-800 pages for this topic  Grin

I finally tried the new Verium miner that is available  Cool Grin it seems to be much more stable/consistent so thanks a bunch for that.  I finally remembered to upgrade the ram on my PC a little while ago and was amazed at the improvement... before with only 8 gb to be able to use more than 4 cores I had to allocate virtual memory which would allow me 2 more cores, Now with 16 gb of dual channel ram I'm getting more hash per core and it lets me use all 8 cores  Cool  DERP I shouldn't have waited so long on that

I also just switched from poolium to Bloxstor... seems great so far but how often are payouts? I've been on for about 24 hrs now

Edit: never mind I figured it out...

Hi Forum!

On xpoolx.com we set up a pool for verium coin.

The page is www.xpoolx.com/vrmindex.php

Verium Mining Pool - Point miners to mining.xpoolx.com:4100

For atracting new miners we've set up a pool bonus for the block finders of 1 extra VRM = mining profits + 1 VRM

Please spread some hashrate on xpoolx.com to get a good block finding time average!

Thanks

Please sort out your problems first before announcing it. I've contacted you via Mail to help sorting it out. I'm a pool operator myself (https://vrm.n3rd3d.com) and can help you for sure. NOMP with VRM has some serious pitfalls. I've created v-nomp (https://github.com/phiten/v-nomp) tested and optimized for Verium.

Regards

Philipp

Can somebody give me list of actual NODES for VeriCoin? So slow sync... Thanks.
Use File > Reload Blockchain.

That will sync the chain in a few minutes on a decent connection

Nodes can be found here (use the other option please): http://www.vericoin.info/downloads/vericoin.conf

the actual wallet is really heavy on my system, it takes at least 4x more CPU than other wallets.

I experienced this in the past with vericoin, I think they took some stuff out of the previous versions to reduce the amount of CPU it would use....but i feel your pain, that wallet would almost make my cpu unusable...and just to stake.

On a side note im excited to see what the first binary chain wallet will look like

hey guys bittrex is saying "Wallet Offline - Developer reported fork" but I don't see any mention of a fork on front page?

I read a bit on this coin but I wasn't aware of any upcoming fork.

Thanks for your time!

bitcoin is dead , and vrc is dead.
All crypto is dead!

I'm dead too!  Grin

And Rock-n-roll dead, but i m not yet

My phone died too.

I think they are waiting to implement the 2 chains together once Verium reaches a certain hash rate for mining. Not 100% sure though.
When they do that, it'll be a binary chain.
Could you please explain your point about the hashrate sufficiency to implement the binary chain?

He probably meant a hash rate high enough that they deem it secure enough for the dual chain. But i dont think that is what they are waiting for.
It is probably just in need of more development, the dual chain is complicated and not something they can just release without alot of coding and testing Smiley

Last I heard the goal was for a Verium network difficulty of 0.3 before implementing AuxPOW (Binary Chain). It's been on a nice uptrend the past few months, once the Devs finish the P2Pool project (decentralized mining pool) within the Verium wallet, and also finish the mobile wallet/miner it won't be long until we hit that difficulty. Good things coming!

Interesting idea. For the first time I hear about the use of a double blockchain, it will be interesting to observe the development and achievements of this project
