Go in the wallet, click on "File" select "Backup vault.." it opens another windows, choose the directory where you want to backup the wallet.dat, choose if you want to rename the .dat file ( i normally add the date of the backup) press "Save"

I recently had to reinstall windows then upgrade to windows 10 now I get sync problems with any QT

Before starting the wallet, delete the appdata\roaming\BitBean\debug.log. Start the wallet and look at the
log, this should give you an insight into what the problem might be.

When you get that fresh debug.log please forward so I can have a look at what might be happening: [email protected]

I'm using windows 10 also and I haven't any problem (for now Grin

), instead installing an old windows and then upgrade, you can with the last build install windows 10 using your old windows key (windows 7/8/8.1).
