Do you have a link? Looks like a good read. Could be very true every G8 country is spying on their citizens.

Backdoors have been build into Intel CPUs and Chipsets for a while. The ME route is an additional measure. EFI firmware is another. Having worked at Apple for many years, we all knew about the exploits to enable cameras, microphones, and peripherals (USB memory sticks and the like). USB keys are another major infection vector as the USB controllers get plenty of MIC attention. Orwell was a blueprint not fiction. Welcome to Orwell's future.

GOOD NEWS!

Bitcoin fees drop to $1!

HA! I don't know where CCN is getting their data. Maybe they are just fabricating it.

Right now, average fees for BTC are $30.19 USD per kB - or about eight bucks for a typical tx.

Meanwhile, average fee for BCH is $0.081 USD per kB - about three cents per tx.

GAME'S UP?
Panicky Segshitcoin investors struggle to withdraw cash from money exchanges as they look to ‘safe’ gold investments amid fears of cryptocurrency collapse

The cryptocurrency's value has fallen by around 40 per cent to £8,000 in just one month

The Real Altcoin(B ash) can survive , because it has a utility as a payment system.

^^ similar concern>>> happening for ten years now: the subversion of the os via hardware

Yeah that Intel ME ghost has been lingering for a few years now. You want a system with Intel ME crippled or disabled. If you are comfortable with a ROM flasher and doing some micro-soldering, you can use ME cleaner: https://github.com/corna/me_cleaner

My money is on hardware vendors who claim to burn a fuse on the processor that powers ME, ie. system76 / Purism. Dell had a system listed with ME disabled but I wouldn't trust it.

Plenty of rumors about low-level USB exploits as well.

Where is the form and any details of this project?

Have a look here

Funny page - evidently unaware that it is an exercise in self-parody. Was it written by an eighth-grader?

LOL he's trying... basically it's all unsubstantiated and/or ad hominem attacks.  "BECUZ BCASH", primary school reading level.

Watching BTC plunge under 10k, I can't help but think, "Maxwell, it's all your fault"...

^^agree with alot, disagree with some  Smiley

You say "In the context of BCH, since other coins support SW+LN as well.  I don't want to go to a LN thread for that info."

I think if SW+LN has other coin support to, then its even more of a reason to have its own thread.
People need to learn about LN, how to use it etc...where do they find all the relevant and upto date info? chat with devs, build a SW+LN comunity that helps people to learn
about wha they are doing.?
There is no point posting on threads for coins that do not support SW+LN....because finding the information you are looking for would be difficult more and more as time passes.
Also there is nothing on the OP relating SW+LN to BCH.

Yes, of course, there's no doubt SW / LN should have it's own thread.  It's a separate technology.  I meant references as it pertains to BCH discussions concerning fees and so forth.  No one should have to come to BCH forum to learn about SW, or how to use LN.
