I believe this price spike is just temporary where the miners are chasing more profits by switching to bch,but the thing is more the miners run to profit off bch the faster the difficulty scales up.
And then they'll run back to btc

Terminated.
EVery fast run up has a fast run down, watch out for the hard drop...
Especially when the coin has no inherent value nor reason to exist.

The next shitcoin (x2) is about to render the previous scam coin (BCH) obsolete, so it makes sense that the big players, who got thousands or tens of thousands of bch for free, would pump it and lure every newbie in (and generate as much liquidity as possible) before unloading everything and gtfo ASAP. More free money to be made with the next one...
Yet you keep drinking the kool-aid kids. Roll Eyes

I sold my coins now which I bought at low price almost got 2x in very short time of period thanks for this pump. I will buy later when this pump will be over I don't think it can stay stable at this stage.

That's what I said when I sold BTC @90$  Grin

2x is nice, but 100x is nicer...

That is the strategy to make profit from a bubble I don't think we will see this price for long time soon it will move to it's actual price where it deserve. I know that is risky decision but better to keep everything in bitcoin.

I hedged some time ago when learned how easily it is miners for to switch, fast diff adjustment (thus profits), not to mention strong Bitcoin brand name.. Also some supporters really want to realize BCH vision and they have both money and are stubborn enough.. plus Im not sure segwit is such a good solution either and for how long it will scale..2mb fork is another politics battle and even 2mb how long will it scale.. they could have just done 4mb soft fork maybe, and after some year 8mb. not this just repeats history of humanity politics and power games again Smiley

I agree that BTC is way overpriced, but can someone please explain me what do people see in BCH?!
It's mind boggling to see that thing on #3 place of coinmarketcap, very disrespectful to way better coins with real development.

Exactly my point of view!
For instance Gulden or Funfair, both with low values for now.

LOL, you forgot Rupaya and Frazcoin....

Bitcoin cash's surge above $500 today is changing more than just the the net worth of its investors and users.

The rising price is also creating the incentive for miners to dedicate computing power to the bitcoin cash blockchain, one that could find them moving away from bitcoin. With the new push, bitcoin cash miners are making around 2% more mining on bitcoin than they do on bitcoin cash.

I think I'm both I'm not a huge fan of Bitcoincash so I am very ignorant on its latest news or updates that is why I'm asking thanks for correcting me will watch more on this thread and we'll see where it would lead us
Think of this as an altcoin with a huge premine. There is no reason for Bitcoin Cash to exist, not for anyone to use it. Additionally, they've been very mallicious and tried to steal the BCC ticker which is already taken. Bitcoin Cash = Bcash = BCH.

Lauda is the kind of 'Fake News' spreader that makes me sell my Bitcoin Cash and is secretly buying it off me because he is a deceitful swine!

THIS IS NOT AN ALTCOIN.

The definition of an ALTCOIN is: Any crypto currency that is not BTC

So Bitcoin Cash (BCC) is an ALTCOIN like maybe ~ 1000 other ALTCOINS including more than 10 other coins based directly on BTC.

Or is Bitconnect, First Bitcoin, BitcoinDark, ... also no ALTCOIN for you? Wink
If i would now just fork BTC too like Bitcoin Cash did and name it "The one and only real Bitcoin" would that be an ALTCOIN for you or not? Smiley

I wonder what it will call its currency if in the future the hash power of bitcoin cash exceeds that of bitcoin core. Bitcoin gold? Bitcoin segwit? Segwit coin ?. In any case bitcoin cash is the most faithful to the original idea of bitcoin, so technically segwit would become an altcoin  Cheesy

the existence of BTC's fork- the BCC/BCH is still not able to solve the blockchain main problem which is the volume of transactions it handle per second. it is believed that it can handle upto 20-30 transactions per second but it is still not attractive for retail and merchants payment processing as of now BCC/BCH is still a form of commodity for trading and exchanges but not a mode of peer-to-peer payments as what BTC's real intentions.

At the moment bitcoin cash does not have to deal with that problem. Anyway it will do better than with bitcoin core. And while in segwitland

Please show me in the original whitepaper the vision and scope of segwit?

BCC is the scaled version of the original Bitcoin.  1MB vs 8MB analogous to  32bit computing vs 64bit, is this not obvious?
