The bridge is running, several transactions have been refunded, but this transaction is still stuck 5fce97e0fbd67d02fd9a8fffa6f8d4169eafcbbaa4ed01ba651a5f03cd214632.
Looks like there are any limits to transfer through the bridge.
The same issue was before.

The contest payouts are calculated based on the Hotbit price (it's still on suspension) and quite different (~25%) from the price of Coinmarketcap.

Obviously BGL team has some very talented programmers! Thanks for sharing this with the community.

Please assume that not all readers of this forum have a background in programming and provide any further details if Emeka's finding has any impact on BGL (i.e. whether this has any advantages for BGL development etc.)

Hi Castor, indeed, there were txes sent before return fix was set in place. They were refunded (and hopefully other stuck txes too).

However I think that "glass is half empty". It seems funds are safe and there was not any fraud/hacking behind this block.
Let's see when they resume their activity. Price of BGL has not been impacted despite hotbit is actually the largest market

Well, Hotbit as usual, they were hacked, now the involvement of a former employee in a criminal scheme and the blocking of Hotbit funds by law enforcement, what is happening there for the second year in a row, I hope some details will appear soon.

I think the more compressed size of the blockchain is also an advantage.

I believe its great that this future article will target non-crypto audience. From my personal experience, currently most people have heard about bitcoin, however, many of them are hesitant to buy a fraction of BTC for thousand of dollars. At the same time, any given investor can buy thousands of BGL coins, a better version of BTC, for just several hundred dollars which makes an investment to BGL an affordable one. I do think that this idea should one of the core points of the article as this may appeal to new investors.

At this time I am suggesting for all members of this thread to contribute to the list of advantages of BGL compared to BTC and I hoping to reach other members who posted here previously as well. Lets have a "brainstorm" and hopefully we could come up with potentially new ideas which will be useful for the comparison of BGL vs BTC. I am going to start this list and like said above, hopefully other members will add more:

One thing that I would mention at the beginning of the paper is that crypto is still in its infancy and many crypto investors deeply regret not investing in BTC about 10 - 12 years ago...

Guys, got the thing about stuck txes, the bridge held much better this time, but one thing emerged recently probably due to RPC provider error or rate limiting,
We would investigate and add handling of such case. All stuck txes would be either propagated or returned (give me 1-2 days max), your BGLs are safe.
