Tx is still stuck into the bridge for 10 days. 5fce97e0fbd67d02fd9a8fffa6f8d4169eafcbbaa4ed01ba651a5f03cd214632.

Hey Castor, the tx should have been refunded day before yesterday, please check. Sorry it was missed.

hey Vanorton

There are more stuck transactions on the bridge. Please check. Thank you!

well done nice effort! it is easy to use and has clear information. +1 merit for you Wink

Can you add also a link that redirect to "last block/ last transactions", pool transactions? and data about burnt coins?
I think these are useful information to be seen in a quick way...

Thank you. I have added the links to last block/transactions,unconfirmed transactions and burnt coins.

Hi dear community

I want to announce (and we can publicly confirm) this address to be the address with 'burnt' coins
in addition to the coins being burnt within tx fees.
So that anyone could burn a portion of coins on their own discretion (within a project activity, etc.)

The address is: bgl1q00000000000000000000000000000000tm54qt
(it is generated to be valid, last bytes are checksum, but no private key for it obviously)

Explorers and BGL Core could (and would) be eventually upgraded to count such coins burnt and out of circulation (I would ask our software contributors to take this address into consideration).

What are the features of this?
- we can count what amounts were sent to this address, from where for any period of time;
- we can create different mechanics on top of that: captcha mechanism to send some amount, contest-lottery "burn the ticket"  0.1 bgl = 1 ticket, DAO mechanics (who burns more in a period get more voting power or burn to create a proposal), burn can be a provable reputational merit (a factor of prestige, status as a luxury good, like expensive watch, car etc.)

Would like to see your opinions, ideas for contests, mechanics for this thing!

Dear Emma, any updates on listing of BGL on exchanges? Right now there is no exchange one can buy BGL from... Please let us know! Thanks!!!

Well, Hotbit as usual, they were hacked, now the involvement of a former employee in a criminal scheme and the blocking of Hotbit funds by law enforcement, what is happening there for the second year in a row, I hope some details will appear soon.
It's good for me when I went first and took care of myself.

They were hacked and got back to work but I lost my faith in them. I did not want to bet that their works actually improve their security to be strong enough to avoid another hack. Finally another hack happened and this time, it looks worse.

Because Hotbit has yet recovered from the past hack and this time, the hack is in bear market when exchanges are suffering loss of income from trading fees.

I hope they will be fine and their users will be fine as well. God bless you.

I assume that BGL has a different mining mechanism compared to ETH but was wondering if some miners would be interested to direct their interest in mining to mine some BGL coins after Sep 15 (ETH switching to POS). Of course there are still many interesting POW projects out there and I assume that ETC likely be their first choice but still... Just a theory.  Hopefully if the team is going to publish their article soon, this should catch some attention from potential miners and help with BGL overall mass adoption.
I don't think this is possible for this coin. Different mining equipment and different hashing algorithms are used. Of course, if the price of the BGL coin was an order of magnitude higher, then the network power would be an order of magnitude higher.
And I will repeat my question that I asked here earlier, how can I deploy a node for the Lightning Network protocol?

I have made a transfer between my BGL wallets and the cost of transaction was a tiny fraction of one cent in BGL price. I believe it was less than 0.001 cent. Cheaper than any other blockchain that I am aware of (ETH, AVAX, SOL, ALGO, TRON, ADA and even BNB). Something to think about.

To the team: I know it takes time to list a coin on any exchange but some update concerning future listing would be much appreciated. I am sure I am expressing opinion from the entire BGL community. Please value our concerns as we are your truly believers and hodlers. Do let us know please.  Smiley

Guys, got the thing about stuck txes, the bridge held much better this time, but one thing emerged recently probably due to RPC provider error or rate limiting,
We would investigate and add handling of such case. All stuck txes would be either propagated or returned (give me 1-2 days max), your BGLs are safe.

Stuck transactions a week ago: dc908734b123c71d3fc45aea9b621c1f274771392e2e18635b401878da10e28e,

Hi Castor, indeed, there were txes sent before return fix was set in place. They were refunded (and hopefully other stuck txes too).

The bridge is down now. New stuck tx: 5fce97e0fbd67d02fd9a8fffa6f8d4169eafcbbaa4ed01ba651a5f03cd214632

The bridge is running, several transactions have been refunded, but this transaction is still stuck 5fce97e0fbd67d02fd9a8fffa6f8d4169eafcbbaa4ed01ba651a5f03cd214632.
Looks like there are any limits to transfer through the bridge.
The same issue was before.

The contest payouts are calculated based on the Hotbit price (it's still on suspension) and quite different (~25%) from the price of Coinmarketcap.

I want also to congratulate our team member Emeka who managed to find a thing in the bitcoin source code!

Obviously BGL team has some very talented programmers! Thanks for sharing this with the community.

Please assume that not all readers of this forum have a background in programming and provide any further details if Emeka's finding has any impact on BGL (i.e. whether this has any advantages for BGL development etc.)
