Bittrex recently delisted GLC and now users are contacting us unable to withdraw their coins unless they pay a .25 BTC coin recovery fee.  Angry

I guess since their volume has fallen to nearly zero, they have to find some way to pay the bills.
Actually, it was on their Recovery Policy (updated since 2017), not new : https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000961172

Aside from Bittrex's notification about the token being delisted, have you informed people via your newsletter or social media accounts about it? If yes, then you and Bittrex did your part. Also, if the users put their coin/token on exchange, they should know the risks.

To those who are included in the 31 countries, is it an option for them to use a VPN when they log-in so that when they are online, they will show up as example in Singapore and avoid the ban? Is that possible or they are violating the terms and condition.
VPN may work out if they don't have any detection system implemented.
Yes, it will be a violation of their terms and condition and if anyone gets caught then they may freeze the account no matter the user have funds or not.

However the problem that I see is logging in using a VPN slows down your pc or laptop and you might lose an opportunity to buy or sell quickly.
You are right if a user uses a free vpn, but the paid vpn can be fast enough.

Bittrex decided to ban my country and to disable my account. That is not problem, problem is because they didnt send me mail or sms (they have all my informations) after they disabled my account I just can withdraw my coins, but I can only withdraw some coins. For example I had Flexacoin worth around 70$ and I don't have option to withrdraw that. Here you can see proff, on Bitunivrse app I have FXC coin but on Bittrex I dont have option to withdraw that coin. My coins are stolen. I writed to support and they say I'm not member anymore and I can withdraw just what I have optioned. Please help.

-snip-

FXC should be tradable for everyone except U.S residents so that's strange, especially that the banned countries have 18th of November as a deadline to withdraw their funds.

I had a similar issue some time ago when Bittrex enforced KYC and didn't allow me to withdraw my funds... so if the support didn't help, there isn't much you can do here. I suggest to simply move to a less strict platform like Kucoin or Binance.

Buy The F*cking Dip

So they moved to "Bittrex Global' and removed a few markets without notifying anyone..

Bittrex removing markets without a notice.

And next, they'll change their name again to (drum roll please) . . . Bittrex Mars.  Grin

On a serious note, people who are searching for those coins that got delisted, they are enumerated in this link.

Just some legalities I think, there will probably be no changes to the actual functions and layout of the website.

When you look at Binance having various websites for local jurisdictions it might make sense to some but is an inconvenience to others, Binance Jersey being an example.

If Bittrex have one global website which is registered in the EU that would serve its current purpose then why not go for it? They would be staying put and continue n operating from their current offices but just their company would registered on paper within the EU.

Okay, so now it's time for Bittrex International to close and get replaced by a new global version of Bittrex?

Crypto exchange Bittrex to launch new Liechtenstein-based trading platform, close Bittrex International

I don't think there will be some major changes aside from the address where the business of Bittrex is located or head quartered. Bittrex International is based in Malta while Bittrex Global will be based in Liechtenstein. Literally Bittrex needs to close their business since they are moving to another country, so headline is correct in someway. To those who doesn't know where Liechtenstein is located, its principality between Austria and Switzerland.

Do you really believe they are faking volume? Is there any evidence for this?
If true, this will be a very big problem for Bittrex as more and more users will walk away.

every exchange is faking volume to some extent specially those that are in competition since there are alternatives that do the exact same thing as them. a one-big exchange like bittrex which was near rank 1 that has lots all of its users (they walked away a while ago when they pulled their scam) is surely faking volume. there are also ways that you can verify it which i am not going to waste my time about, methods such as watching the order books and order history and comparing them for size frequency and shady behavior.

Yes order books are great indication when people are checking if exchanges are inflating figures or not.

It seems a pity Bittrex had issues in the past with its users. If they sort themselves out and focus on their structure maybe the users will return or at least no new accusations will be made against them.

they have been losing traders and volume and with that they are losing revenue, with the recent ban of another 30+ countries they sank more in the ranking on coinmarketcap and went above 100. now they are trying to get some volume back by giving people some free money (the $25 "credit") but i don't think it can save their business anymore, it is sinking ever since they decided to scam their users. now they have to report fake volume to remain close to 100 and not drop anymore... Smiley

It seems the credits are gone. All my open orders with credits were cancelled and I no longer have credits in the account.

Yup, mine too. They've expired. We were supposed to use them all by 22nd October.
Perhaps Bittrex has a change of plans on those credits but its weird that they did not make any announcement about the sudden change of plans or offer any explanations to those who lost their credit. This kind of move of exchanges like Bittrex is the reason why they move or take their business elsewhere. Its like they dont value their client because if they do, they will inform any type of changes in the site to all their clients.

They did mention that date; read the last sentence of the first paragraph:
