I think the most difficult thing about new exchange listing is that there has to be something in it for the exchange. It is possible through regular communication, and work, that there would be listings - however, in this day and age exchanges want to now give exposure to companies which run projects, which is a far far cry from the ethos of the era which this project originated.

I have always considered BLK to be a relevant currency, it is currently being traded on only two exchanges (according to CMC and Coingecko). What plans, if any, are there to expand and reach new users and investors?
The Blackcoin team is looking forward to getting BLK listed on more exchanges. Unfortunately, the project doesn't have any funding, so the opportunities are quite limited.

However, I would like to introduce a MANDATORY update for the Blackcoin More wallet:

Blackcoin More version 13.2.2

On April 24, 2024 6:00:00 AM (UTC) hard fork on Blackcoin network will take place. The hardfork will introduce the following backward-incompatible consensus changes:
  • Transaction timestamp removal
  • Minimum transaction fee as a consensus rule
  • Enabling of relative timelocks (OP_CHECKSEQUENCEVERIFY)

Please update your nodes before this date!

Is it possible to know how many nodes are currently active? I'm thinking about participating in Blackcoin staking again.

U got bamboozled and ripped like a boy in 2014, u got to prison and was released on parole. Two years on u found urself in a mexican cartel in a bondage. That is when they took advantage of u. At least presently you can say for yourself that everything that happened was in the dire past and now you have back your happy life in the US. But let me tell you, the guys at BTER exchange (do you remember that one  Grin) still remember you guys and they are still searching for the perpetrators of that scam. Or for the scapegoat. U know what I mean.  Wink

-Testnet hard fork: Enabled relative timelocks (OP_CHECKSEQUENCEVERIFY, BIP62, 112 and 113)
-Enabled compact block relay protocol (BIP152)
-Added an option to donate a specified percentage of staking rewards to the dev fund (20% by default)

-Removed sendfreetransactions argument
-Get rid of AA_EnableHighDpiScaling warning (backport of Core's PR16254)
-Updated multiple dependencies

Hi I have a suggestion that you shouldn't remove timestamp completely... isn't it used for stakes to increase security? Also it would make force a Halo software update. I think instead just do the following: Require stakes to have timestamp set correctly and any other TX allow timestamp set to zero... this way the field is never removed. Integration into NT can happen since NT can just set 0 for timestamp.
