And remember that the most important for a p2pool is latency, so choose a p2pool node closest to you (with lowest latency).

anyone from http://bc.dedicatedpool.com/ here?

the frontend is total messed up:
Unable to load your global config .....

same MPOS error msg for everyone.
doesn't look pretty, especially after our "mining for nothing" DDOs hours...

thats why i switched to dedicatedpool!
it should be ddos protected i think the frontend is in bad shape

Fear not.

Frontend is down.  Mining continues without problems
and the payouts will catch up soon
admin is working on it

ah thanks!
was not sure, i use p2p with my local workers but i also use a rented rig and i can't see if the rig is mining when the frontend is down
to bad the rented rig can only use stratum ...

DDOs happens to all coins.  I've learned that after mining other coins.  That's why I sign up for multiple pools and set up a failover.  It helps mediate the problem.

Same unbearable shit as usual, half the pools down, going down, on-off and the other half is empty, like mining solo.

Than just use p2pool - p2pool can't be down and it's always paying - p2pool is DDOS resistant as it's distributed through nodes:)

Just choose the best node, with the lowest ping to your location ! We're currently at 900MHs total hashpower ! Smiley Remember that p2pool is best suited for bigger miners (bigger than one or two radeons).
Don't get pushed away if you won't get your payout with the first block - p2pool needs to get momentum Smiley

Maybe a guide on how to set up this type of mining is in order, I looked over your site, and have no idea how I set it up so it goes into my wallet.  I don't know how to set up solo mining, if that is what this is?

1. Choose your Pool

2.

For address you'll input: (I'm using black.lowend.fm so I'll give example for that)

black.lowend.fm:3333   (3333 is the port of course)
username: BFWGsrocZFKiUKKtmtwu7AWcb5qVA3CcpR (that's my wallet address make sure to input yours)
password: X (any password of your choice will work)

edit: PM me if you still need help

If this coin is just being mined by hackers and rig renters there is no way I am buying any. I'll stake what I mine and ignore for 5 years. Not getting involved in this one. congrats hackers your greed ruined a promising coin.

Yeah fuck investing in this coin. Ill just mine it. Too much risk.

This coin just showed its true colors. Dump city...

Thats fine, let the multipools dump. We get it cheaper!

just use it like other pools,  as user put your wallet adress in password does not matter:

like:
cgminer --scrypt -o http://pools.hashwell.de:8337 -u walletadress -p x --failover-only -o http://p2pools.cryptoprojects.eu:9336 -u walletadress -p x blabla your config stuff here ...

Every popular coin attracts nefarious characters. Blaming them for ruining the coin is pretty futile, those sorts of groups will target wherever there is money to be made, and mining is still profitable.

Just set up your miners for 3 or 4 failover pools, usually one at a time will stay up long enough.
