Hey guys, been out of town on work this week. Not much time to check in. Got a few mins so thougth I'd look.
While that does stink, I'm not totally surprised. We havent' had much volume on Bittrex since Poloniex.com listed BNS. All the volume has occured on Poloniex since then. Apparently we could stay listed with volume, which is all a game. I understand Bittrex wants to get paid and we could fake volume by selling and buying from ourselves, but we are trying to focus on building a coin for the long term not creating false volume. So, if thats whats required I'm not going to stress about it. I don't think the rest of you should either. We also have several exchanges listing us for a reason, one listing us or removing us or disappearing all together won't crush the coin.
The logo contest is now over. #4 got the most votes, but all of them came in 5 mins so I think it was at best rigged and at least highly questionable. So, I can't award top prize to that one.
So #7 will be the winner (Got the most votes AND really is the only one who gave all the icons that were required to be in the contest anyway). #4, #2 and #5 will split the 2/3rd place prizes (I won't disqualify #4 as I can't validate if the logo creator did it or somone else did it to effect our results) - I'll reach out to everyone who should get awards this weekend when I get back. It's not the perfect solution, but best I can come up without a BRAND NEW vote with all kinds of rules and I don't want to waste time on that.
Also, if our goal is volume the bigger exchanges are key. I haven't had time this week to push for votes on MintPal (which has been one of the focuses before I got called out of town). I have an idea of how we might refocus the effort there next week too. Though I'm out for a couple days next week as well.
In the meantime, please keep voting
https://www.mintpal.com/voting#BNSFinally, I know everyone is hoping we roll to PoS early. We'd love to do that as well. That said, our original post is still valid, officially it's not going to happen until 75,000. We had very specific reasons for selecting that long timeline. We are a dev team with outside jobs and all of us had travel scheduled that limits our time to do the final testing. And we have been a solid coin with a stable price and are NOT willing to mess up that status by rolling early and risking issues. The coin will be rolled over to PoS when we're sure it's not going to have issues. We don't want to go any earlier than that. That said, as we said before, if we can get it up and rolled over earlier we'll probably do so.
