Moving the imported coins to a Z address happens automatically when you confirm the sweep dialog (maybe there was no such dialog in 1.0.0)
Then don't do this, ie do not use their wallet
Maybe you got me wrong. I'm fine with this, because I wanted to move them to a Z address anyway.
OK, I thought that z-address' use was marginal, so it is not? (
https://github.com/BTCPrivate/BitcoinPrivate/issues/124#issuecomment-370402991)
Still it should be mentioned that it's mandatory
Of course and it should not be mandatory
(is it with cli, too?)
Probably not (why should it be?) Unless this is another attempt to make things complicate for people or trap them
Alternatively this necessity should be removed.
Yes
Apart of that AFAIK there's no other BTCP wallet that supports (importing from?) Z addresses yet.
Probably, then back to the other points above, once you have moved your coins to a z-address then you are stuck with their (shxtty) wallet still recovering from testnet (apparently they did not anticipate the switch from testnet to mainnet), so people should better use my tool or something else instead
I don't think that I am going to implement z-transactions for the tool unless there are some incentive to do so, not difficult, see
https://github.com/Ayms/zcash-wallets, everything is in there already (personal implementation of non existing BIP32 for z-addresses)
