Moving the imported coins to a Z address happens automatically when you confirm the sweep dialog (maybe there was no such dialog in 1.0.0)

Then don't do this, ie do not use their wallet
Quote
Maybe you got me wrong. I'm fine with this, because I wanted to move them to a Z address anyway.

OK, I thought that z-address' use was marginal, so it is not? (https://github.com/BTCPrivate/BitcoinPrivate/issues/124#issuecomment-370402991)

Quote
Still it should be mentioned that it's mandatory

Of course and it should not be mandatory

Quote

(is it with cli, too?)

Probably not (why should it be?) Unless this is another attempt to make things complicate for people or trap them

Quote
Alternatively this necessity should be removed.

Yes

Apart of that AFAIK there's no other BTCP wallet that supports (importing from?) Z addresses yet.

Probably, then back to the other points above, once you have moved your coins to a z-address then you are stuck with their (shxtty) wallet still recovering from testnet (apparently they did not anticipate the switch from testnet to mainnet), so people should better use my tool or something else instead

I don't think that I am going to implement z-transactions for the tool unless there are some incentive to do so, not difficult, see https://github.com/Ayms/zcash-wallets, everything is in there already (personal implementation of non existing BIP32 for z-addresses)

This price won't recover the lose of the people who bought ZCL above 0.01BTC but they have admit their stupidity but I don't think price will get stable at this level.

If you are using the same formula which takes difficulty, and block reward, in order to calculate btcp profitability, you might get very wrong results.  Usually, for equihash, part of the formula is (difficulty * 2^13).  Based on my results mining btcp for the last 30+ hours, such factor should be 2^5.  I have 17900 sol/s of hashpower.  This got me about 0.5 btcp per 24h at suprnova. Difficulty was high at the very beginning, but for the last 30h is steady and lower.

This error message reminds me of the old Microsoft helicopter joke.  Wink

Moving the imported coins to a Z address happens automatically when you confirm the sweep dialog (maybe there was no such dialog in 1.0.0). Now that there is such a dialog anyhow, I don't understand why it doesn't mention the necessity to do so later manually in case you don't want to have it done immediately.

Yes, really shxtty stuff, there are other issues like https://github.com/BTCPrivate/BitcoinPrivate/issues/124

More funny in https://github.com/BTCPrivate/bitcoin-private-full-node-wallet/issues/32 is:

"balances from fork need to be sent in full to a Z address before being able to be spent normally.
provide more user-friendly error message when attempted."

I have some hard time to believe it, why? requirement of their wallet only? save some time before it is sent to an exchange? Then please someone try my tool, there are no reasons why you should send your coins to a z-address first

PS: and indeed we can't trust their explorer, whether down, not showing the utxos before the fork when up or strange info (intentional?)

CarlOrff , In what pool do you extract the BTSZ?
Thanks
There is a lot of pools to mine BTCz.
I use many of them and time to time, I change.
My mathematics was based with SuprNova.

*Brute force will solve any Bitcoin problem*
I find it kind of amazing that a coin of this hype magnitude does not even have an exchange lined up at launch or within 24 hours?

Used to be even a shitcoin would be listed on Bittrex as soon as it launched lol I guess times have really changed or the exchange operators have doubts....

Not sure what to think....  Huh

Times are changing, im sure exchanges will be demanding a payment for the coin add.
I have been watching this reddit post for the last few hours.   https://www.reddit.com/r/BitcoinPrivate/comments/824lwv/bittrex_is_a_lot_shadier_than_you_think/

The Electrum wallet provided still will not sweep and send segwit pks. The send gets an error and the tx is rejected by the network. Please fix this. People with segwit pks cannot claim their BTCP.

Again, you can try https://github.com/Ayms/bitcoin-transactions
