So who has ZLC or BCT will receive BTCP coins? Any value received or only above 1? In case only those who have the private key of both will be received, correct?

Guys, 2 questions:

Was you able to import keys from 1.05 to Eleos 0.1.0?
While both wallets sits on the same chain there should be no difference where to keep ZEC to receive BTCP?

And bonus question Smiley) BTCP airdrop will happen on some future block only or some past block can be announced?

Thanks!

9 Pages and there still isn't discussion about the differences between Bitcoin Private and Monero? Or PIVX, ZCash or Dash?

Monero is years in development and testing and the King of privacy coins. The devs also have several major releases coming soon addressing speed and privacy.

I'm all for advancements in blockchain but if you're going to release a privacy coin, it's merits over existing products needs to be discussed.

ZCL is a clone of ZCash, so you can safely say BTCP will have same features as ZCash, at least initially. Future development may add/remove certain functionalities but that's a discussion for future.

Clone yes, but does not have that insane 20% developer fee as Zcash has and fee free feature will transfer to Bitcoin Private also. In my opinion, all coins that are premined, include fees to developers and/or masternodes are basically scams or alternatively will just make already rich even richer in the end for almost zero work done for it.

This includes Dash too. What do you have to pay, max. $25/month to get turnkey VPN to run masternode? And for that you get ~80 Dash/year which is quite a lot money these days for nothing.

Also don't forget the insta-mine that was done by original developer back in the days when it was still called Dark Coin. That insta-mine will always haunt DASH. Although new-comers don't know about it so they care less.

What wallet is the best for getting btcp for sure? MacOs ideally, but can build it from source code.
There is Eleos, Swing, wallet from Zen repos, exchanges....

I am storing my favorite ZCL in cryptopia right now, does not seem it is the best option...

Swing wallet and Eleos wallet both work fine on Windows. I personally prefer Swing wallet as it has better control of address and private key exports.

and hopefully won't even think of approaching the ridiculous fees that a btc transfer now incurs......

The block time is 2.5 minutes and block size is 2MB, so network congestion (and high transaction fees) shouldn't be a problem at least for a foreseeable future.
