I activated the pool wallet again and the transaction will be resend on the 177500er-Block-chain with v5.4.0.0-g32a928e-cach-wm-alpha Version. The pool is now clear(all rewards paid) you do not lost your coins (as far as I'm concerned)

Transaction 1083ff748333d6e967050538ad929d2884eb42110b25710ce20b08e6c19d1757 and d514982d7da52504b3466b7397fcea6a546ea9ea7987d1a3b5a451aae758716c is in 40-124blocks in the blockchain.

He doesn't have access to his old account of bitcointalk (Kalgecin) - that was already written by me! Doesn't matter which name used in the  forum: you could check the github of Kalgecin and its activity (new wallet on 18.06, 24.06 - implementation of new POW which was failed).

There is only one chain, they need to resync. There would only be a fork if the chain was changed (which there were no changes to), please read up on how blockchains function. The issue with the update just underscores what we are trying to fix, slapping good working code on the testnet and working properly for a week then launching live on the network with an unidentifiable issue is exactly the type of problem we are fixing. We will just push all these updates into the java wallet and stop trying to put makeup on the pig. The btc pig is very cute but its fat, slow, unstable and dirty. And until someone cleans it up its just going to be bad code.

There were no fork, the problem that Cryptopia used V5.4 and needs to re-sync their wallet! The main wallet was not changed too much - only POW which exchange doesn't use.
The chain is one - Cryptopia was stucked during implementation, now solving it with re-sync process.
The Cryptopia support is very fast with any kind of service, very good service!
CoinExchange didn't change anything, so they were on V5.3!

OK,  I tried to stay silent.. but I cannot.

Please look at the evidence and stop saying there is only one chain.

First, lets be clear.. There are currently at least 2 separate chains.

Evidence
  • 1.  the exhange was on block 177734 as was my wallet before they went down for maint. The explorer is on block 177443
  • 2.  We have compared blockhashes of the 2 chains, and they are different.
  • 3.  I have sent coins to both exchanges AND the transactions are NOT on the explorer

There is other evidence, but that is enough to prove there are 2 seperate chains.

Maybe before you "please read up on how blockchains function" ...  you should.

Also, before you blame btc

The btc pig is very cute but its fat, slow, unstable and dirty. And until someone cleans it up its just going to be bad code.

You should realize that billions of dollars are riding on that code...  DASH is also based on bitcoin and it is much more complex, fast, and stable.

java may abstract you away from memory management, but cpp is much faster then java hands down because of direct access to memory which you dont have in java.

SO, please stop denying that there are two distinct chains right now and do some work exploring each chain to figure out what happened.

I tried to stake some coins, and I  noticed that the wallet use quite a lot of cpu power during it.With some other coins,it doesn't happen, and it a problem for me because I use to mine with my cpu.

This blocks are in the other chain. I do not clear the database from the block Explorer because this takes a more days and I have only added the new/old chain blocks and reinstall/resycn the wallet. In the next week i clear the database and rescan from block 0. Not all Information are correct in the browser  Sad
We have not lost these coins? Good!
Good question but a lot of coins sold twice on cryptopia if cryptopia set back to the old chain and cryptopia could not payout theoretical all coins because These coins do not exist in the old chain.

I think Exchanges has its own data base because you see the trading never stops when the wallet on maintenance or disconnected.
And this is a Problem. with this "reset" there are no data consistency.

Good question but a lot of coins sold twice on cryptopia if cryptopia set back to the old chain and cryptopia could not payout theoretical all coins because These coins do not exist in the old chain.
Then in old chain, this coins stay in your pool walet? And theoretical you can pay this coins to miners?
I will check this in the next days. theoretical I could paid twice Manual if I have this coins. The pool works on a new wallet because I wanted to prevent this double payout. An you see what happen with the Price on cryptopia.  Sad

What about last 7 transaction:

There are transactions, but there are no blocks for them

There were no fork, the problem that Cryptopia used V5.4 and needs to re-sync their wallet! The main wallet was not changed too much - only POW which exchange doesn't use.
The chain is one - Cryptopia was stucked during implementation, now solving it with re-sync process.
The Cryptopia support is very fast with any kind of service, very good service!
CoinExchange didn't change anything, so they were on V5.3!

Sorry for the troubles! We will do our best to avoid it in the future! The old code gives a lot of troubles. The new one's would be a very stable as long as it would be 100% new.

I think more importantly someone has to decide which fork is the 'real' chain, since odviously we forked about 2 days ago and there are 2 distinct chains now.
