Bounties and GUI is the next stop  Cool
... and Bittrex   Wink

Do you have some Bittrex contacts? We should add XCI to Bittrex, more exchanges -  more attention. We need blockchain explorer for XCI.

Hey,
http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/25590/how-to-enable-ctrlv-for-pasting-in-the-windows-command-prompt/

GUI source code is here, you can build and use it!t
PoW is secure and decentralized, time-tested. Expect GUI binaries about next week.

You can! Simply enable quick edit mode!
Just right click on the windowframe from your wallet and enable it under properties.  Wink

Hey how's it going,
If you want to use XCI GUI it is actually available: https://github.com/xcicoin/xciwallet
Check the updated building instructions.
https://github.com/xcicoin/xciwallet/blob/master/README.md

If you use Ubuntu, you can build it very easy.

1. Dependencies

First install all dependencies to build https://github.com/xcicoin/xcicoin You should be able to build xcicoin from source before continue. Next, install Qt5. https://wiki.qt.io/Main Next, clone repositories and build. You can do it with the following commands if you run use Ubuntu:

2. Build
Code:
git clone https://github.com/xcicoin/xciwallet.git
cd xciwallet
git clone https://github.com/xcicoin/xcicoin cryptonote
mkdir build
cd build
cmake ..
make

Will upload GUI binaries for Windows next week.
Thank you all!

if you choose to mine in a pool then you need only the miner
and in one computer the daemon and the wallet.
Also it is not important to leave the daemon and wallet open but synchronize whenever you want to see the balance or make transfers

You can download Windows 64 binaries for xcicoind daemon and XCI simplewallet:
https://xcicoin.org/xcicoin.zip
MD5 checksum: D50D4E386149642D2206260086149F0E

There are 2 files in xcicoin.zip folder:
xcicoind.exe - is a daemon run it first. Sync with network.
simplewallet.exe - XCI CLI wallet. Run it when daemon is on.
Always backup your .wallet file after simplewallet will generate it! All your XCI funds are there.

Now we have 4 pools, smoothly running blockchain and first Win64 binaries, keep going. Bounties and GUI is the next stop  Cool
We are great! Again  Grin

thanks looks more interesting now, gonna try that

question?
if i wanna run miner on more computer? the deamon have to be sync on all computers?
or is there a ways to just run the miner?

Thanks I download it.
One more thing is gorillapool normal?
Because I see that there are 9 miners and almost 1 -4 are paid. Also the payments as I see is too little.
The pool has almost 10 - 15 blocks per 10 mins and the payment is only 11 - 45 to one or 2 miners.
I am speaking for those that I saw in this site.

im trying to transfer my coins from my wallet to the exchange and i get this when i hit the transfer command (yeah i have entered address and payment id, also specified 1 XCI as fee)

22:17:24.472119 INFO Failed to check ring signature for tx
22:17:24.472625 INFO tx used wrong inputs, rejected
22:17:24.474184 ERROR Transaction verification failed:
22:17:24.474374 INFO [on_send_raw_tx]: Failed to process tx

Any idea, cant get my coins Sad

heres the command ive tried:

transfer 0 1HMLFTL7jMqVFmcfXLJranbJfvz8dSEe4KQDqCpSo1pPKktUKNuuqtqKFjtg8JNFmd9vjAzMGopwrE3 xHSLegXYqJ2sJ8rJ 100 -p 86048a15071d512de7a91326f4c33687d7eaca9b3cbda0ff0960eee585071702 -f 1

We are checking the issue reported by Gorillapool with simplewallet bug. For some reason your wallet may be affected and has some wrong tx inputs.
Here is my proposal for anyone who is dealing with this bug:

1. Stop your daemon ./xcicoind and delete .xcicoin folder. Start your daemon, resync. Start your wallet and make reset by typing the following command:
Code:
reset
2. Make the new XCI wallet (address)
3. Try to move your funds from the old wallet to the new wallet. Do it with some small portions and low mixin. If you have 420 XCI, make 10x 42XCI transfers. Wait between.

Every time you are trying to make transfer, simplewallet is taking random inputs, if your wallet has some bad inputs and is trying to add those inputs in your transaction you see that bug. When your transaction is ok, this means only good inputs are inside and you will be able to use your funds with no issues with the newly generated wallet.

Before network will be absolutely stable for a few days it is not good if users will use their wallets because of possible blockchain splits and rollbacks.

Do you mean that I should not open my wallet at all? If yes, it's too late, and that would totally suck if I were to loose everything I have mined.

Please confirm. Thanks again for your work and time!

No, you can open your wallet, but i suggest anyone who have touched XCI to start the new wallet and to move funds to the new wallet. To have no problems you should do it with the min mixin (0-1) and not in one single payment. If you have 420 XCI, make 10 42XCI transfers. You may need to wait a few minutes between transfers for coins confirmations.
Don't worry, Man, we have the checkpoints, last one - block 4000, you will not loose funds you have mined.

Where can I find Windows wallet???

No Windows Wallet available actually, you have to use Linux atm. But this is a simple task.
1.) Download  and install VMWare Player or Workstation, does not matter which one you will use.
2.) Download an Ubuntu .iso and create your Virtual Machine.
3.) Compile the Daemon and Wallet by using the Instructions on Github.
https://github.com/xcicoin/xcicoin

If you are unable to Compile, I'll can send you the compiled files.
