BTW - Stuck at block 26053 then had to delete blocks .... again! ...and it's still stuck Sad
What wallet/system are you running?  Why did you feel you had to delete blocks?  Everyone so far that's run the code on Windows and Linux found that it ran perfectly - no need to reload the block chain or rebuild the other files at all.

No wallet code - old or new - can display blocks that aren't yet complete.  Block 26053 was one of our long blocks (a bit more than 5 hours).  Please check the chart - if we're on long blocks, it's absolutely expected that the wallet could show 1, 2, 3, or more hours behind depending on the length of the current block.  This is normal.

http://www.catstat.info/

For example - the current block is 26055.  It's about 3 1/2 hours old.  Both the V8.9.10 and V9.0.0 Windows wallets show "3 hours behind" just as they should.
Ah... Thanks for the explanation. I will check in future. It's just that, even if it is the current block, I expect to see the wallet is sync'd after some time. The wallet remained unsync'd.
Glad to help, Tribesman.  Did your wallet sync yet?
Yes, the wallet is sync'd now.  Smiley

We are still seeing a lot of 0.8.9.10 clients out there, as well as some even before then.
Just a suggestion, that all the active pools post to their miners that they should update their wallets with a notice in their top news that version 0.9.0.0-PID-beta is released.

Well, I like the logo  Cool

Don't know what to say , not overly enthusiastic about it.

Wasn't a logo, was a shirt that Woot! had on sale yesterday.  I thought with the hardfork coming, and hopefully a smooth out of the diff after that it would get people fired up about CAT.

Regarding this whole Oprah thing, I hope we aren't just relying on Coyote Wallstreet for that promotion. The more I hear about this guy the more I think we should be distancing ourselves from him. Seems that he fucked around with Potcoin recently as well, though I don't know the details. Did the Oprah network or the Diamond Collar show decide to promote CAT by themselves or did Coyote Wallstreet just jump in seeing an opportunity and declare himself the coordinator or something along those lines?

Just something to keep an eye on. I could just be worrying over nothing, though I'd hate to see Catcoin get caught up in some kind of scam because of him (if the rumors are true, that is).

I talk to Patrick all the time, this is crypto the land of flame wars and trolls
i also verified that he was indeed who i had to deal with directly from the owners of The Diamond Collar he has not done anything to scam us and everything between us and The Diamond Collar is Legit I assure you

We didn't hire Coyote Wallstreet, the Oprah Network did.  Oprah is a long time/hard core animal lover and does a lot of work in that realm.  She and her network are driving this, not the other way around.
