now don't everybody jump in at once with the mining, yall just hang back while I lower the diff for you to a nice profitable level wouldn't want to distract you from mining doge and leaf and whatnot while I help a coin that I no longer hold because my wallet corrupted but I still wanna help because it was my first altcoin and I feel I have a duty towards it.

Is there a block explorer that is on the right chain? http://catchain.info/chain/Catcoin is not updating, still stuck on 21346.
The person that manages that site hasn't updated it yet for the fork. Not sure when he'll get around to it.
We're now on block: 21350 with a difficulty of 68.99357232. I can almost taste the Catcoins.

Pools will have to update their frontends with the new parameters. Hell, most pools seem to still be using the old 2016 block retarget to calculate things like Estimated Average Time per Block and net hashrate (hence why there was so much confusion regarding the real net hashrate, among other things).

Advice to miners: split your hashrate between several pools. Diff is going to bounce HARD a couple times before it stabilizes, and someone is probably going to accidentally fork.
