guys im still holding 3k catcoins but im thinking about selling it...  this fork thing, i dont think so it will help... cause problem will be the same all the time

there should be diff calculating every block - now when diff will be really low then all minners will switch to mine this causing next diff skyrocketing badly causing same thing like before hard fork,
i know that now we only have to mine a 36 block, but when diff will be really high then ppl will stop mining it

http://p2pool.name also on right chain, BUT p2p needs more hashrate, people.
time between blocks is way to high now. p2p hashrate is only 7.93MH/s at the moment ...

this also will save u from mining to a forked chain.

Net hashrate is up by 0.2 Ghash/sec since before the fork. Ok, not a huge amount, but it's an improvement.

If the net hashrate in the pool that you are in is NOT 162.57, then you are mining the WRONG fork!

I'm going to open up a catcoin wallet on a mac with a static IP and stable internet connection to provide another node. Can someone say how to start the wallet off on the correct blockhain.

The Windows wallet in the OP is working great for me. Do a clean install of that and you will be on the right chain.

Can someone please help me with the wallet?

Its currently stuck on 1hour at block 20349
I've tried re-downloading the wallet > nothing worked.

What are the nodes etc to try?

Can someone help here? i have a full bar connection in the wallet also.

Did you try adding nodes in catcoin.conf inside roaming folder?

here is my conf file:

rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=pw
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcallowip=192.168.*.*
daemon=1
server=1
listen=1
port=9933
rpcport=9332
addnode=poolerino.com
server=1

if you reply, i will use this comment to reply back like i did before since i have to wait 6mins.

LIST OF POOLS ON THE CORRECT FORK

Wallet net hashrate = 157.22 mh/s

CORRECT FORK:
https://coinex.pw/mining/pools/CAT = 157.22
http://catpool.pw/ = 157
http://solidpool.org:9333/static/ = 157.22
http://cat.luckyminers.com/ = 157.22
http://cat.coinium.org/ = 0.16 gh/s
http://catpool.in/ = 157.22
http://cat.mintpool.co/ = 157.22

WRONG FORK:
http://cat.cryptovalley.com/ = 230.44

Will update as I get more results
Doesn't make sense though because if you combine the pool hashrate for the "correct forks" it is over the "net hashrate" SO CONFUSED!

cat.poolerino.com has been fixed: 0.16 GH/s

All the forked blocks were orphaned.

can someone explain me how it is possible that net hashrate isnt even close to pools hashrate

Net hashrate is estimated from block time, which has not been very consistent.

Good job Leo. Glad people are keeping on top of this. Shame Cryptovalley got left behind. It's a good pool.

Will update as I get more results, please link to your pool if it's not in this list! What I don't understand is why the global hashrate is so low. If you combine the hashrate of the above pools on the correct fork, it FAR exceeds what the wallet is displaying. Something is not right.....
