Any social bounty or signature campaign for Chilicoin?

Nice idea. I think we can do something like that. Let me think about it. Do you have an proposal of how such campaign should look like?

There are people here that can create a signature for a bounty and the users wearing them may receive a bounty. does that sound good dev?

What would be a reasonable amount for people to change their signature?

the one im wearing now gives 5 cbx which is roughly 250k satoshi daily. but you dont have to go that high Cheesy

Ok, I am working on the signature design. Want it to look good and its like a puzzle.

Awesome. I will wear it with pride Cheesy

Who can compile a wallet for linux please? I can't do that in my vps Sad

Cheers

Let me guess... Amazon free tier? If so, I can help you so it will build wallets.

I've build one for you: https://github.com/ChiliCoin/ChiliCoin/releases/download/v1.0.0.0/chilicoin-qt-linux.tar.gz

You still need to install the dependencies. This is the GUI version, not sure if you were looking for the daemon or the GUI?

Here you go for the dependencies:

Code:
apt-get update && apt-get upgrade
apt-get install ntp git build-essential libssl-dev libdb-dev libdb++-dev libboost-all-dev libqrencode-dev

wget http://miniupnp.free.fr/files/download.php?file=miniupnpc-1.8.tar.gz && tar -zxf download.php\?file\=miniupnpc-1.8.tar.gz && cd miniupnpc-1.8/
make && make install && cd .. && rm -rf miniupnpc-1.8 download.php\?file\=miniupnpc-1.8.tar.gz

InterServer $0.01 plan lol

I need daemon for host a node, but thanks for your help Cheesy

Here is the linux daemon: https://github.com/ChiliCoin/ChiliCoin/releases/download/v1.0.0.0/chilicoin-qt-linux-daemon.tar.gz

Same dependencies apply.

For most cheap VPS instances the trick is to add virtual memory: https://damvin.com/index.php/2013/03/14/adding-virtual-memory-to-aws-ec2-micro-instances-and-other-smart-tips/

why is it that when a 'linux' compile is required - its immediately thought of as a debian based system? ... im just curious ...

redhat based ( like fedora and rhel itself ) are linux too guys ... im a redhat fella also - fedora 23 x64 mainly - but centos 7 x64 on the vps systems ...

yes - its a pain in the bum to compile on these redhat systems ( as opposed to debian based systems ) - but im astounded that when the word 'linux' is used - its automatically thought of as debian based ... especially when you consider that redhat systems ( from rhel ( centos - scientific linux ) to fedora ) is the top 3 linux systems in the world ...

very interesting how this crypto world sees things SO differently to the 'real' world ...

anyway ...

my curiosity always gets the better of me ...

o - and its great that the community is all pitching in Smiley ...

#crysx

debian is easier to use and more mainstream. i think this is why  'linux' happens. Cheesy

its certainly not 'easier' to use ... its very similar in usage terms ...

but the debian community have made many steps towards the crypto industry - to bring it much closer to the 'people' ... so in that sense - i must agree with you ...

even so - fedora based systems have a HUGE market share - and by stipulating debian based compiles only - means a great deal of users ( and market ) is being cut off from the coin and its community ... which also lends itself to confining the community to a specific collection of people ... the more the choice of compiles - the broader the usage AND the larger the community ...

btw - just off topic - i will need your translative expertise once again - as im bringing granite ( grn ) and ozziecoin ( ozc ) together for the redevelopment next month under on banner - and would like the translation to greek done also ... this will be starting on the 1st of next month ...

tanx ...

#crysx

awesome i will be waiting for your message.

Now I am going to update the OP with the new images

I just love the colours Cheesy

Indeed! Pretty funky and perfect for the coin's purpose

Well done!

One question regarding the wallet (windows).

I have already installed the wallet. Now i will download the updated one. Besides copying the wallet.dat file do i have to do anything else in order not to lose my coins?

Thanks in advance
