I agree 100%. It is us, the community here, that has to contribute for the greater good of all. We don't do it at this point, it won't get done. Today 3 GREAT ideas were posted here, but they wanted somebody ELSE to do it!!

RULE #1: Got an idea? YOU just volunteered to do it!! (This is EXACTLY how we did it in early days on redditt/doge when we had like 2300 members. LOOK at DogeCoin now. HUGE market-cap for a joke coin.)

Update: EM wallets will be released within the next 1-2 hours.  For this release -- only Windows and Linux wallets will be compiled, and we will work on getting MAC wallet ASAP  (Originally this info was to be announced with the wallet updates, but I am making this announcement now because I have a meeting in 10 minutes and will not be around when we release the wallet).


Active Development:
Our Encrypted Messaging system will be the framework by which all future development will be built upon.  Here is a list of active development that will be built upon the EM platform:

   • Mobile wallets that fully support all features which are built into the desktop/PC wallets.
   • A combined Cinni/BTC wallet & Point of sale retailer system [1]
   • Anonymous Transfer System (will offer unprecedented 100% true anonymity uniquely built upon the EM platform) [2]

Notes*
   1. The idea behind the point of sale system and the combined Cinni/BTC wallet is that many retailers are accepting BTC but very few are accepting any alts.  Our goal is to make a point of sale system designed toward retailers that want to accept BTC.  We will offer this system for free, and bundle Cinni with it.  This way, Cinni can have a door into retailers.
   2. Because of Cinni’s unique EM platform, our method for Cinni’s anonymous transfer system, which will be built upon the EM platform, will offer unprecedented 100% true anonymity.  This is currently not something that even DRK or XC can offer.  We will release a white-paper with in-depth details on our method tonight sometime after the wallets are released.

Funny how there are quiet pauses like this when there is good news. People are rational (very much so where money is concerned), sometimes it just takes a little while for the rationality to set in.

Great job devs! I agree, this is just getting started, people need to relax and not expect a skyrocket in minutes.

Investor confidence will grow in the next few hours to days because the devs delivered on their promises. Can you also give an ETA on anon transactions too, it'll increase confidence a lot more since anon is what most bandwagon coin fans are looking for.

We need many people testing the new wallet with EM / AM and then posting the results.
This is needed for investors to confirm if its genuine and if it's without major flaws etc.

The backup of wallet.dat is always a good precaution. Once done with the backup, delete the whole directory and install the new version. Once installed, copy the archive of wallet.dat into the newly created Cinni directory and start the application.

to be clear. Do I backup my wallet.dat then delete info and reinstall? A little confused as to the process of updating safely. Thanks in advance!
