Byebye 50k, hello 30k or maybe 10k with that shitty résistance xD

I think people are waiting for the new anonymous feature (POC: proof of cloak Smiley) to be released before jumping in. Also I think investors are waiting for cloaksend 2.0 were mintpal and other popular exchangers can be used within the wallet. If you don't have alot of btc than the only thing to do to make big profits is a long term investment (bag holder). It does suck when you see the price dropping and your bought at a high price.

Try to be patient forget about your investment and try waiting it out a month or 2 and trust it will be worth it. Every coin that exploded didn't happen overnight but took a few months.

yeah i wish! i don't think we'll see under 45k tonight, maybe it'll get lower tomorrow. i hope it does, i have a few more BTC i'm freeing up with cloak in mind. not good enough to have gotten a bit when it was 25k, 50k is still such a steal.

+1

You'll get your wish. We have 8 days with no release and impatient kids, bound to see high-low 30's at some point.

Hey Dev could you please add the new wallet with Cloaktrade to the first post. Noticed it wasn't there after downloading the old wallet and not seeing cloaktrade in it.

Thanks.

YES! just picked up a cheap BTC's worth of cloak @ just over 50k, selling more of my portfolio on other exchanges now, DONT GO ANYWHERE. KEEP DUMPING.

I just did the same. Accumulating feels right....

Wallet Update 1.9.5.0

Including CloakTrade 1.0 Alpha (for in wallet trading) and TOR (increased privacy).

CloakTrade will be improved and new exchanges added. When they improve / upgrade their APIs to include conditionals we can add some advanced trading features for future updates.

We'd appreciate any feedback, we have some known bugs that will be corrected but look forward to hearing about anything that we can improve.

You will be able to save your API but as a warning: In this version there is no option to encrypt your exchange password. It should be stored in same folder as wallet.dat... There will be an encryption option added in for CloakTrade 1.1. Please bare that in mind and keep security number 1 priority, if your computer is at risk of being compromised, don't save / use your API until we launch CT 1.1 with encryption (password protected) option.

Going forward!

We'll launch a voting contest soon where you guys can prioritise our next development running alongside PoSA.

The three options will be.

1. CloakDocs : Encrypted Document Sending
2. CloakChat : Encrypted IRC and Messaging
3. CloakMarket : Worlds First p2p Decentralized Market

More details will follow for each option in the voting list that will be posted later on today.

Any updates on the OSX client?

Coins that get voted on to MintPal generally die.  Look at MyCoin.  It's at 2 sats.  Was well above that before MintPal.  Look at Monero.  Great coin.  But it got voted on to MintPal and every one dumped it.  Probably lost 20-30% of its value in the last week (and dropping).

Coins that MintPal adds on their own, generally do well because they have something special, or they are good coins.  This isn't 100% true all of the time, but they skip the voting process for a reason - because they'll generate volume, which means income for MintPal.

My gut tells me that wallets with weight > n% of network weight may cause these forks ala mintpal. Eg like a 51% on POW coins. So a parameter like MaxWeight=n% of network weight may help ? Which is likely to impact on staked earnings Huh Not sure just pondering the issue

Exchange wallets don't stake,  it causes them more problems than its worth.

Well mintpal allegedly did

They like this coin. Good sign (pain in the ass though).
