Never tried this CPU algo, is there any performance comparation tables for different CPUs anywhere? Ryzen vs Intel (Xeon) maybe... Most of my CPUs just idle lately Sad

Hm, is there any idea about new exchanges since exvo.io gone "scam"?
And any news or communication from dev-side would also be nice...
It seems that there is no more up-to-date news. Perhaps developers are trying to solve some problems.

I think that most likely, we will not hear more news.
The exchange turned out to be a fraud, and even if it is not so, the reputation is already spoiled.
It is necessary to search another exchange for Wawi!

Install multiple masternodes on the same vps ( the vps must have an IP for every masternode)

Install 1.putty and 2. winscp

follow the guide for single masternode:

https://docs.google.com/document/d/12HlCLHVMhxgu0jMewd4e48w3NQ5pdRLPmPb0ZhPG3dw/edit#

when you get to this part in the guide:
"cd
mkdir .wavicore
nano .wavicore/wavi.conf
"

instead of creating ".wavicore" use winscp (easier) or create in putty "wavi01, wavi02......" like this:
"cd ..
mkdir wavi01
nano wavi01/wavi.conf
"
Now you should have in your user directory (mine is root) like this:
"
wavi
wavi01
wavi02
wavi03
"

wavi directory contains "wavid" file
the others contain the wavi.conf you just made with nano or winscp

my wavi.conf files are like this:

"

#mnXX
rpcuser=mnXX
rpcpassword=XXXXXXX
rpcport=99XX
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
externalip=XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:9983
bind=XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX
masternode=1
masternodeprivkey=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
maxconnections=25

addnode=80.209.239.239
addnode=185.81.164.56
addnode=89.40.11.157
addnode=94.176.238.101

"
change the "X" !!!
rpc user must be different for each conf
rpcpassword can be the same for all
rpcport must be different for each masternode and different from 9983 ( use 9984,9985...etc)
externalip and bind = masternode ip, one of the ip's you have on the vps
masternodeprivatekey is the one you generate in the debug console, the same one you put in masternode.conf on windows wallet

start your masternode on the vps from putty with command:
/root/wavi/wavid -datadir=/root/wavi01 --daemon

Note that my path to the directories wavi and wavi01 wavi02... is /root . Put your own path

check if it's running in putty with:
ps aux --sort -rss

let the mn sync for 1/2 to 1h

configure your windows wallet masternodes.conf like explained in the tutorial for single masternode, one line for each masternode

mn01 IP:9983 masternodekey output
mn02 IP:9983 masternodekey output

restart windows wallet and then start masternodes from windows wallet.

you can also put the start command in /etc/rc.local in vps just in case vps restarts so the masternodes start at restart. If vps stays offline more than 1h masternodes need restart from windows wallet.

/etc/rc.local:

 /root/wavi/wavid -datadir=/root/wavi01 --daemon
/root/wavi/wavid -datadir=/root/wavi02 --daemon
 /root/wavi/wavid -datadir=/root/wavi03 --daemon
 /root/wavi/wavid -datadir=/root/wavi04 --daemon

Hi, I build 1 WAVI MN, and use command "masternode status" to check it return "status": "Masternode successfully started".

The MN continued active 4 days, but I didn't get any reward . Anything I miss  Huh

In the blockchain there are no awards to the address of the masternode?

MN address only 1000 coins. No other coins.

What says in masternode bookmark on wallet? Is it enabled? If so, currently there are 530+ nodes, so your chance to get a block 1/530 (or <0.2%), so just unluck i guess.

Status is enable. I will wait 1 month, hoho~

hello,
just bumped into this thread... but the last few posts are not very promissing...
anyway, although the cpu mining features are attractive, would like to know if there is something else behing this coin other than transactions and currency?
thanks

Several times it was written here that the peculiarity of this coin in the protection of the GPU and ASIC mining, increasing decentralization, reducing the consumption of electricity. Also, the high difficulty of mining coins is a small reward for the block, now 22.5 coins in 2 minute (Yenten still has 50 coins per block).

Is the project abandoned? There is no dev activity (same as @Yenten thread). Global hashrate drops from 1800 to 400-600, no new exchanges and no plans.

PS: Just withdraw 6 Wavi from Exvo, been waiting for around 4 hours with no success. The status says "processing".  Cool

That's why there is no faith in the young stock exchanges, and listing on these exchanges does not lead to the real value of the coin.
Wawi should cost more, and such exchange can discredit it.

I do agree with you... Wavi value should be more than 5k sats...

They are claiming that the bitcoin wallet is "out of sync" and have "contacted the developer".
This does sound very fishy indeed.

Can anyone track their bitcoin wallet addresses?

It's been around 60 hours. What kind of internet connection do they use for their server? The whole BTC blockchains is only about 260 GB. If the only problem is out of sync wallet, it should be okay right now. But in fact, nothing. You can follow the discussion on their dicord channel to know more. IMO, Exvo is 90% scam unless they can solve all withdrawal problems.

Is Exvo a scam? I've used it a few times successfully; Is it just recently that they started not paying out coins?

I can't confirm whether Exvo is 100% scam or not. But users cant withdraw their BTCs since 54 hours ago. And their developers don't even give any explanation to what's really happening.  Cool

What bitcoin developer do they mean? Sounds very strange, I agree
