You are all right, I'm glad you see the potential for this coin like I do. Bitcoin took a dive and all altcoins are down now, that's probably the reason.

I'm still interested in the power consumption of this algo vs others. Does anyone have an idea how much power they use while mining??

I mine with 2 intel nuc i3 processers with arround 30 watt. I get around 230 H/s with 3 cores. Electricity is about 6 euro per month for each nuc so is 12 euro each month. Funny thing is that if i use 4 cores i have about the same H/s ... . Love this coin :p.
Already 9 coins ;-).

Yenten have a fantastic distribution, no premine, mining even low/laptop cpu, no ICO/Airdrop, listed...

... and Yenten is only for 21y or older man.

Pure pleasure.

Price dropped but network hash remains constant and just increased too. Virtually every other coin’s hashrate rises and falls with price but yenten’s hashrate is inelastic.

30 days in: 6 pools, one of which was already hacked and another crashed, 60+ discord users, new users can still SOLO mine effectively with their office PC, and nodes are popping up all over the globe.

I don’t think yenten is going anywhere.
Absolutely not man. Ofcourse this is a coin with potential. I've been mining for years, and when I see a coin like this one I know I have to start mining and holding. In six months from now we will be talking way differently.

crypto = passion
Sad, price is dropping lately. Hope it goes up again.

I don't understand why people on coinmarkets buy only shit/scam coins and why they don't invest in this coin.
Hope this coin will be listed on a serious exchage.
It's good to hold the coins for now.

Why would anyone buy this coin?

There's no marketing, no gimmicks.  Only ASIC-resistance that's not tested.  No special features/capability.

Yet, I'm still mining.

for now it is just another "pay miners" coin, to they could dump their stash there need to be someone who putting some bids on exchange - it is no matter why, someone is willing to spend BTC... it is their decision and money.

Guys,

I cant compile https://github.com/JayDDee/cpuminer-opt on my centos 7. Other cpuminer work but they dont support yescryptr16. Does someone has a clue or a guide to follow ?

-Wall  -Iyes/include -MT algo/cpuminer-m7m.o -MD -MP -MF algo/.deps/cpuminer-m7m.Tpo -c -o algo/cpuminer-m7m.o `test -f 'algo/m7m.c' || echo './'`algo/m7m.c
algo/m7m.c:4:17: fatal error: gmp.h: No such file or directory
 #include
                 ^
compilation terminated.
make[2]: *** [algo/cpuminer-m7m.o] Error 1

My 8320E (7 threads) when using minerd in the pool gives 0,54-0,56 kh/s (7x0,08-0,07). Is there a way to get more? (with 8 threads and/or overclocking there is a strong overheating of Northbridge)

No need to run 7 threads, you will get nearly the same hashrate running only 4.
