Please consider using xmrig or xmr-stak. you won't regret
I know about xmrig. there is no "-x socks4" option.
it is very necessary to configure through the parameter socks-proxy...

same thing here.. only cpuminer-opt support mining via socks proxy with a simple option.
wish it could be updated more often.. Undecided

I am here to add another checkmark to the tally of people asking for ARM support in cpuminer-opt. There are so many people who want to mine with ARM SBC clusters but are effectively locked out of the most promising emerging cpu coins because there is no mining support.

Good friends,

I am going to use for the first time the cpuminer program for a cryptocurrency called binarium. For a server that has two processors E5-2420 1.90ghz of 6 cores and 12 threads

How do I set the affinity if I want to use a total of 20 threads?

for this processor should I use cpu-miner-avx.exe or cpu-miner-aes.exe?

Greetings and thanks for your support  Wink

you should use cpuminer-avx, with -t define number of threads.
cpuminer-avx -t 12

Is this "ready to compile" in VS 2017 or does it need adjustments? Otherwise I could throw in the latest OpenSSL like our friend wants above.

Please compile https://github.com/bubasik/cpuminer-opt-yespower for windows x64 with latest version openSSL

I get it only from libssl-1.0.0.dll, and it's slower.

In linux works faster than in windows.
in linux - 407 h/s
in windows 7 x64 - 350 h/s

Thank you.

What speed does a threadripper 1950x get on lyra2rev2?

I CAN'T AFFORD ONE--

But tech reports state that a low-end Threadripper can get near 1kH/s CryptoNight hash.  This is in the same league as the RX 580 GPU.  The least expensive Threadripper (1900X/$300+) is 8 cores/16 threads, and rated at 180 watts.

Well ...

If I can get it to compile in Fedora 28 x64, I will give it a go and post results. No results means I still can't get the code to compile in the bleeding edge OS.
