Yeah, for now Electronero seems to be a failure.
By now, we have had two forks from Electroneum, including Electronero (ETNX) and Electroneum Classic.
It's interesting to see which one will perform better between ETNX and Electroneum Classic.

ETN itself did go back supporting ASIC's, if you ask me, ETNC (v7 without ASIC's on the network) came right on time.

But this project is better than electronero. Electroneum classic is not forked from electroneum like electronero.
It would be bad if it forked from electroneum because it was 60% premine. They can dump in the market with massive amount later.
This project is good if the planning execute accordingly.

Yes and Electronero did way too much, rebasing over Monero which resulted in a bug that sent the difficulty to impossible levels, locking the chain down forever. Electroneum Classic is not pursing such error prone things and our commits and changes are very clear. Electronero had a premine, also they increased the max supply by 10x. I have experience and am well familiar with cryptonight, one of the use cases we want is very fast and cheap anonymous payments, something like what Litecoin is to Bitcoin.
