Im go back a LTC .

What can we now to undermine profitable ?

Which coin is worth our Kh/s ? .
I wonder...
My choice of coin hasn't been really good lately:
*exe: to the moon bottom of their gravity well (but hey that's the way gravity works...)
*bitleu: no exchange but some pools and high hope
*fugue: one exchange but no pool and clearly not profitable through mining
*rhinohorn: no pool no exchange (from the wallet only)

Why people still mining HVC with this difficulty? Its no longer profitable.

Well according to this calculator, http://agran.net/fuguecoin_calc.php, with my GTX 770 hashing 130 MH/s i should earn 0.0106 BTC/day if i can sell them at 0.000039. That's pretty huge to me.
I have found 3 blocks soloing overnight.

That's more than double that i can expect with any other coin than i know of.

may sound daft, but is it just me or has bitcoins value dropped by over $40 in the last 2 days? even with Mt.Gox finding 200,000 lost bitcoins?

I just give up to test different boards to work with Linux and 6x750Tis. Such a headache. I stay with my configuration of GA-990FXA-UD3 boards with AMD-FX6300 and a bunch of 750Tis. It works flawless with Linux.

Btw, bigjme I will have a lot of this riser soon. I could sell you back with the same price. Shipping from Germany. If you have interest just pm me. Wink

just for the record: I recompiled ccminer under ubuntu server 13.10 using  -arch=sm_35 --maxrregcount=128 and my khash for heavycoin went from ~19100khash max. to ~21500khash. power usage stayed the same. pretty nice improvement, thx again Christian!

Me, Myself & I
PS: on another PC eveything works flawlessly.... after copy&paste of config files.... go figure :S
Assuming firewall or some internet security sw interfering. Try disabling them to check is it working without, if yes than configure passing of needed ports.

except it is a USB 3 converter which would be needed...
Why not moving the whole pc away (near where you plan to put the cards) and buy and long monitor cable ?

It's more of an issue of space, if it were a normal case then maybe ;-)
I may be able to spin the case round and a 2m might just reach.... hmm

Wasted money. Better just give me 0.1 btc and i will save ur £300 Smiley
Usb cables suks. You  must use a shielded lan cable.

With these things you will probably be able to use even a 15 meter cable.

why not just use AsRock H81 Pro BTC? built for mining. I have it, and it works without problems under ubuntu 13.10

For Intel there are a few. For amd not so many.
Do you have x1 risers connected into your x16 slots to run 6?

More to the point, is it x1 usb risers or x16 to x16 ribbons?

before I bought the H81, I also wanted to go with a AMD cpu. However, the price of the H81 is perfect, it works good and offers a lot. The whole rig (celeron cpu & 5 x 750Ti) only pulls 240Watt from the wall (according to my kill-a-watt), so maybe you want to think about going with AMD again. If you build 20 rigs, you can save A LOT of money (just by going with the cheap H81)!
Cpu farm, I believe Intel is the way, just on power saving.
I have seen 7 cards being run on a msi gd65 motherboard.

The other Intel one is Haswell only, pretty cheap to set up, low power overheads. And will support 6 gpus and may allow for you to use the on aboard so all gpus run at full power

I have seriously considered that but I read from reddit that alot of people having problem with this board under Linux to get the 6 cards working. Have you tried the 6. card in your board under ubuntu 13.10, bigjme?

Sadly I'm still stuck with just my 780 after finding out about the usb cables not working at such long lengths. So I can't be much help on that, sorry

I have to find a 5 m cable first... and i will write back

thank you, this would save me a LOT of money if they work fine with them

Sadly i can confirm it doesn`t work with 5m cable , it is not detected by the board at all. Cry Cry Cry

I can`t sort out why is cudaminer using 50% cpu even with -H 2 , reinstalled driver restarted , but nothing helps , any ideas?
The cpu is intel Celeron 2900mhz G1820

Thanks. Looks like I'm going go have to spend another £300 then :-(

Someone to help trying Fugue?
Started wallet, set it to listen at 127.0.0.1:9089... but client can't connect is tehre something tricky :S ?

You open fuguecoin.conf add it if not already exist:

Code:
listen=1
server=1
daemon=1
rpcuser=u
rpcpassword=p
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=9089
addnode=192.200.115.101

Now launch your Fuguecoin client, it will listen on the port 9089, waiting for a connection from 127.0.0.1 (your local host)

After it you can launch your miner software, and connect it to 127.0.0.1:9089.

.
Copy&pasted (again)
I can confirm that wallet listens to 9089 (telnet,netstat).
Yet still get
[2014-03-21 11:08:07] HTTP request failed: Empty reply from server
[2014-03-21 11:08:07] json_rpc_call failed, retry after 30 seconds
Sad
