Ain't nobody got time for that!  Wink

Let's put some pressure on this then, shall we? I promise the following:
In exchange for a working, malware-free GPU riecoin miner which is significantly faster than CPU mining and works with Nvidia (integrated to the cudaminer would be optimal) I promise to donate to the creator:
-10% of what I mine in the first 24 hours
- 5% what I mine in the second day
- 2% what I mine on 3rd day
- 1% for days 4-31
Scrypt hashrate comparison 350 kh/s

Anyone else in? quote this with +1/ I'm in and I'll add you to the list. Post your scrypt hashrate for reference and I'll keep updating the total donation promise to this post. lets see how much we can get!

Got a GTX 780 at home...716kg/s mining scrypt, 325 mining vertcoin, 203mh/s max, 5.33kh/s yac and 420kh/s UTC.
If anyone can do this, I'm sure it's cbuchner1.
Great! We need more people in, you guys realise how damn valuable this would be? It's definetly not gonna happen free anytime soon, releasing it to the public would mean that you give up of a huge benefit you have - It shouldn't be free.
I'm upping my own offer to 20% on the first day.

Can't get the cudaminer-2014-02-04.zip to download from mega - any other (trustworthy) hosts?

mega working like a charm - dunno what problems you get there (i just copied cudaminer-2014-02-04.zip from there to my clouddrive) .. try another mega links, seems its just your problem

Sent a donation last night of 0.125LTC to you Christian, in case you were wondering who it was. Thought it was only fair given I've been using the software for about nearly a year now.

Big improvement Cheesy gained 30KH/s from the update on my GTX 660

Edit: nope. that's wrong. I gained 40KH/s

I found the secret to 100% yays on keccak with cudaminer 2014-02-09 ---> H 2,2,2. I am mining riecoin on all 8 threads of of my CPU, and maxcoin on all three GPUs at the same time (and same rpcport I might add). My fastest config is H 2,1,1, but that gets me 3% boos without CPU mining, and 8% boos with CPU mining.  I wonder if the additional boos are because I'm on the same port? Doesn't matter, I still eliminated all boos with H 2,2,2 with or without CPU mining.
That is unrelated with cudaminer per se. You should always leave at least one CPU thread free for GPU miner software, even more with cudaminer that allows for offloading to CPU. So mine riecoin with 7 threads. Running "cudaminer" in high priority also mitigates the problem.

in CUDA SLI'ed GPUs will show up as separate devices.

As the name "scan line interleave" implies, this is a technique where each GPU renders a part of the image (e.g. alternating scanlines) and the final image is composed on one of the participating GPUs either by sending the data over the PCI express bus, or over the SLI bridge interface through which the GPUs are connected.

There is no SLI acceleration for CUDA.

You can run 3 GPUs in one cudaminer instance though.

Christian

Thanks Chris! So what is the key to tell Cudaminer to run all GPUs in one instance?
Appreciate your time!

difficult to mine on cpu... no, you just have to wait... how hard can it be to 200000 second (in average) to get a block ?

Ouch that stings a little. lol, 4632 seconds down, 707,000 sec (8 days, 6 hours) to go. If the difficulty retarget is kind. Wish I could use my mighty cudaminer :-)

@Stanr010: I mined max exclusively until yesterday, but the grass is starting to look greener in other pastures.

Is MAX still profitable against other alt coins? I think we're right at the tipping point right?

Can I mine with cudaminer (GPU set H=2,2,2) and mine riecoin at the same time on the same port? I have a lot of connections to the riecoin network so I'm afraid to disconnect to find out (the blocks are just now reaching full reward).

PS riecoin is very difficult to mine on CPU even at the start. Surely there are some large prime libraries that NVidia uses for boinc or universities? We could pwn this like we pwned maxcoin. Any word from Anderson?

Hey guys, I updated to the latest version of cudaminer, because I was going to try for some maxcoins (I think I gave up before getting a whole one,) but I"ve having some weird problems. I'll leave my miner running overnight, or while I'm at work, and it seems to lose the stratum thread, but continue hashing with no connection to the pool. It's "yay"ing all over the place, but nothing's going through. Today it did a new weirdness. I got home, and it had lost the stream on a doge pool, and was running at 1Kh/s or less. I stopped the miner, and restarted it, and it's working fine again.

EDIT: Since I gave up on maxcoin, I reverted to the 2-4 build, to see if it reoccurs.

Gentlemen,

I apologize if this is not the right place for my question regarding Cudaminer but I'm a new kid on the block and when I saw this posting I thought it would be ok.

I'm trying to learn as much as I can about mining. I set up a computer with a GTX560ti and 2x GTX260. At the moment my hashrate isn't great as the screen shoot below will show. Actually that is my question based on the picture below I see a long time between "yays" whereas I've seen other folks's screen shots with a "yay" every other line. Is it because of hashrate?

So what Am doing wrong with Cudaminer? Is my hashrate shown correct? or is it expected due to my sucky GPU? I'm planning on improving to R9 290 but I need to see if this is a viable thing to do to make money.

Also I don't know how to make Cudaminer use all of my GPU as a one. is SLI enough? I tried 3 instances of Cudaminer and that seems to work but I don't see the point of running GPU's independently I thought about SLI because I think it is a way for the main GPU to off load some work.

Thank you all!
