I just published an in-depth analysis on the Civic ICO, and I thought you guys might want to check it out: https://crushcrypto.com/cvc-ico/

Very good analysis, are you going to look into other ICO's, current and incoming?

Do we need to verify identity before donating? Can we send ether via myetherwallet.com and a nano ledger wallet? Will the tokens be receivable back to the nano wallet? Thanks for the help!!!

Please wait for the FAQ to be published - to receive it as soon as it is released subscribe for updates at tokensale.civic.com

Any update???

By the way the the App on verification process (both mail and phone) return the following error :
It seems we are experiencing some difficulty here .Please try again later or notify [email protected] and we'll get right on it . The operation couldn't be completed.(CivicCore.CivivSDKError error 1.)

I am completely new at CIVIC project. I have started reading about ecosystem model by them and I am interested to know what products can be bought with CIVIC token. I will be joining the token sale too and very excited about it.

As the project tokens are already listed on jaxx wallet I guess I will be able to transact it smoothly. Great work.  Will learn more about the project.

Yes, but the constant drip of the freeloaders wanting a bounty is getting old... oh and now, if they don't get a bounty its going to "fail". How original. More entitlement mentality.

These words made me laugh, audibly, enough that my husband poked his head in the room to ask if everything was okay. It does seem like a trend though.  Failure is never as predictable as the "freeloaders" make it appear.  This project looks solid,  worthy of investment even.

21 Companies Leveraging Blockchain for Identity Management and Authentication:
https://letstalkpayments.com/22-companies-leveraging-blockchain-for-identity-management-and-authentication/

Some of these companies will die. Maybe 2 or 3 of them will go to moon.

Can someone convince me that CIVIC is a good investment? Why is it better than the others?

this is for the first time in a very long time when i have the feeling we are seeing a inside trading operation. interesting people, interesting parteners, no real promo in crypto world. who has the info gets in who does not...well..bad luck.

...and I am sure "Rex" is straight up legit. Yeah.

Though many are concerned about the initial market cap, I consider it as a positive initiative as some of the icos we have seen failed terribly because of the low market cap they offered, however convincing that may seemed to be.

I am particularly concerned about the planned 1 Billion coin to be produced for this project. Will that number make the coin hard to increase in value? I am just a newbie by the way so my questioning may not be all right.

It's 10 cents per token. 33% will be sold in the crowdsale to make the market cap $33 million. Total market cap for 1 billion tokens would be $100 million. It's not the number of tokens but market cap that matters.

Thank you - fully agree. Not sure why many are focussed on the arbitrary coins number.

Yes indeed, 33% is sold in the tokensale, 33% left with company but locked-up and 33% for incentive / partner tokens. But think about the fact those partner tokens allocated to enterprises joining the network would serve as a strong incentive for them to implement Civic, which is likely to have a major positive effect on the Civic ecosystem more generally as it grows. In my mind you get the value of the token from the value of the ecosystem, not just from the number of tokens issued.

I believe you are right. If Civic team succeeds through this strategy and become the main platform for distributed identities, then we are in front of a billion dollar product

my uneducated guess is

300 million mkt cap at launch

complication is it will come live while the BTC scaling/ forking fear is still rampant...will be very volatile is my guess

The interesting question is, and who will get credit for predicting it correctly... where do you see the coin value (its a personal guess, estimate) going in the first quarter, second, third and fourth (year mark).

Anyone got the kahunas to make a prediction?
