The price has gone down a little. But it's still up from a few days ago.
The price is gone down coz of many baned users after this drop. So they begin to sale they coins rapidly. Dumps are good for the coin - especialy when coin is young. they let new investors enter into the coin.

I think you are kidding, did you know where the price was last week. The price has taken a great leap and is over $1 current most projects will be jealous of Onion position by now, what we need is listing on bigger exchanges

Fascinating project, I'm embarrassed that I learned about it so late.

Looks like I'm in for a lot of reading.

DeepOnions for the WIN!
I think another big news coming.  Another exchange may start trading with DeepOnion.

Source here https://deeponion.org/community/threads/listing-on-livecoin-exchange.518

When I posted earlier about the good things about our beloved DeepOnions,  dev replied saying “this is just the beginning.”
So, now soon, most probably will be at least 2 exchanges supporting DeepOnions.

This will be great news! With the great price movement already, while only listed on Novaexchange, I would think that a Bittrex listing will make Onions' price rocket through the roof, with the increased trading volume at Bittrex. let's hold thumbs! Onions will make us all RICH Smiley

How to contact the developers? I contacted the OP here, in the official forums I contacted this guy called "deeper" and I posted a thread but no single answer  Huh  Huh

that is a really good question... I would appreciate the answer to as well!!!

I am out of ressources to get my new wallet syncing (unable to get connexions)
and nobody from dev team bother coming to help at this time.

Appreciate tihe different members standing to help but at this time
this is not enough....

Please dev, contact me through PM to figure out my 3 days issue
to have basically my wallet connected to the network

did you do the .conf file. will upload mine. for me it sync very well

Remember. create a .conf file. it should be name DeepOnion.conf <--- must be like that in your roaming folder for deeponion. then paste that in the .conf file. then wait for a while. it should start sync.

Sorry, I don't want to feel rude but after 3 days of issue.... I am a little frustrated.

Sure enough, I installed Conf file from official pages and putted numerous addnodes.

If you want you can share your conf file.

The issue seems way more weird and need a deeper solution... sadly

But as for now, nobody came with deeper suggestions.

I guess this is the new price this week. Huh

I revised my position after analyzing the increase in the hash of the network and its complexity.
After the breakdown of the breakaway, the price will refund the needs.   Grin

Mining question > I am mining ONION using CCminer 1.0 (alexis version) and I am getting only 13,4 Mh/s on a GTX 1070. I have seen people getting much higher hashrates. What am I missing?

I get 18,4 mh/s with a 1080 TI OC on ccminer version 2.0. So for me your hashrate looks fine for a GTX 1070.

So 6.5mhs for 1060 is ok too ?

Would like to try this once I get jr. Member.

Your account looks like a waked-up account.
It indicates you were registered since 2012 and surprisingly you are still a newbie.
I guess your account must have been sleeping for a very long time.

We should tweets

Hi there. I just done re-tweeting them.
I hope they will help add ONION in PoloniEx and Bittrex.
For now, there's a hint that listing of ONION in livecoin is a big possibility soon.

Does it matter if the card is Nvidia or AMD? Since AMD have always been good in the past. I haven't mined since I had a 290x.

As far as I know mining on Hawai is not that great you need modded version of the sgminer and hash is not great either compared to Nvidia.

I know that this threat is really hard to follow with all the posts constantly....

but
- sure the conf file is at the right place, with tons of addnodes, and has the accurate name
- yep, I can navigate with TOR browser (checked that yesterday).

- I was NOT able to check about my windows firewall settings because it seems to have something not in place
and working on my PC to do so.... I need help to figure out how to proceed.

- someone at a point mentioned about "peer.dat" file and the fact that I could need a new one.
But I did not want to use the link provided by the person from a weird site... and was asking
about this file from an official DeepOnion community page.

"WHERE can I get this "peer.dat" file on an official DeepOnion page? "

I did not get a reply and answer about that.... not sure it would help.... but at this time
for 3 days, nothing was the solution.

I have a lot of wallet staking on my machine... so, even not techy, I am pretty familiar with this
and I never got that kind of basic issue impossible to solve.

Hope someone will come with the solution ;-)

thanks

Can you reinstall a fresh windows on your PC? You need a windows with firewall working. If you want i can connect to your PC via Teamviewer to see what's wrong

ouch, NO, I would not re-install OS on my machine.... ;-)

And anyway, I found out the way to access to my firewall settings....

I saw that DeepOnion app was NOT listed.... I added it...

but at ths end, this is did not help either....

Does it matter if the card is Nvidia or AMD? Since AMD has a reputation for being particularly well for mining, due to something in it's architecture. Even though the NVidia ones are better for gaming.

Have you tried the link from the readme text file of the onion desktop client?

EDIT: This is the one: https://deeponion.org/DeepOnion.conf.php

yep, I red it.... just telling about conf file.... which is CLEARLY not the issue there....

having conf file issue in place is trivial.... and is suppose to solve the issue immediatly
as for other wallets. In that case, that does not help.... neither numerous other things I tried.

- filewall is ok
- conf file is ok
- ABLE to navigate with TOR browser
- re-installed 4 times
- ...

it seems that I am part of the 0.000001% of unexplained issue LOL!

Hope someone will understand and provide a solution. I am out of options right now

Are those people have the same mining equipment as you do have?
If the answer is no, then maybe they got better equipment, a better mining rig than yours.
That may be the reason why they get much higher hashrates than you do.
