I tried. I can't connect to the Tor network. I run the Tor Browser and I have no problems accessing Tor but the wallet does not connect Huh

the second I place a conf file in the folder it does not start up at all

if you use a non-default datadirectory, it will hang on startup. Unless you add two folders ("onion" and "tor") to said non-default datadirectory "onion" and "tor"

Sync problem with Mac wallet? You may need to add nodes open a finder window, click on "Go" menu "Go to Folder …" enter

Exactly! Download the Wallet Client, start it and look for "receiving address". Copy it and paste it! You should then be ready for your first round of free Onion! Welcome!
