Yes, that is correct. Everyone competes for staking, sometimes two wallets stake at almost the same time, so one loses out. Like with mining, this can especially happen if your internet connection is slow.

We should remain steadfast with DeepOnion and not get swayed by the FUDders.
They envy the dev team and they also envy us because we have a great, large, and strong community that supports DeepOnion.

We just continue to qualify every week, we get all the airdrop, and the FUDders don't get anything. Nothing for them negatives.
That's the very basis of their envy because all their reasons are just absurd.
