Can someone please confirm if there is any way to buy onions anywhere yet? If we are interested enough to want more than the Airdrop provides it's a little frustrating that there doesn't appear to be any marketplace for them.
I know some people are mining, but I don't have that type of equipment.

A question to experienced miners, I am a bloody newbie related to mining.
I try to mine with sgminer on kawaiipool with a Radeon HD5570 card.
Hash is very low, average 25 Kh/s and since 2 days not a single µOnion mined.
Tried also "x13mod" and "x13modold" as parameter.
Sgminer seems to work correctly.

The Hashrate of the Pool is INSANE and you won´t be able to achieve anything with one gpu at this point.
The difficulty increases fast, at this point it waste of electricity and time.
Better use nicehash or something like that, look for bountys or buy afterwards on a exchange.
ATM with bullish market movement, nicehash it pretty profitable, earning 11$ a day with 3x 1070 and a 980ti

Tried solo mining at 25mh over 2 days but no block found. ;( Going again with pool mining. Any suggestion please ?

I have successfully downloaded the windows client, registered with the airdrop, and received the bonus.
At first I had a bit of trouble, but the tutorial for the .conf creation solved everything.
I will try to be more active posting in the forum to meet the requirements for the airdrop.

Say, for example, ONION is trading around $0.5. The devs could put in a buy order for 500k ONION at $0.3. If the coin price keeps steady, or rises, this buy order will never be triggered, but in case of coin instability, or a pump and dump, the coin is very unlikely to fall below $0.3, as a massive amount of people would have to dump their coins to fill the huge buy order.
Such a buy wall shows confidence in a coin, because if you are sure the coin will rise long time, worst case is you bought a lot of coins at a low price. But of course if the coin crashes and burns, you are left with a lot of worthless coins

I downloaded a Deeponion wallet and it would not sync. I ran netstat -a -b in Command Prompt to check connections.
Some dodgy looking connections discovered so i downloaded another wallet, still would not sync, different dodgy connections.
Downloaded third wallet, checked connections and everything was fine and wallet synced in moments.

I wonder why I'm not on the list? All conditions were met. More than 10 messages are more than 100 characters, the signature is according to the rule. Apparently you do not take into account the messages in the Russian part of the forum.

Are you on the Mac wallet or the windows wallet? My Mac wallet had trouble syncing at first, but I DL the extra file and followed their instructions and it worked.

This is the most promising airdrop I've seen since byteball. People will be surprised at how big this can get (just look at NEM). The distribution is very fair and amount of work that's been put into this is very impressive.
