I made a small transfer to stock.exchange, it never show up in my wallet. Already have a ticket without any feedback. What do you think?

If you give them a few days to update they should be able to review your support request thoroughly at that time. Once they're on the new daemon things should be much easier for them

Is it possible to withdraw several thousand coins from stocks.exchange at once? It's still kind of problematic. I don't feel safe leaving the coins there.
I don't think it's possible

Wait for few days, will PM you when possible.

Please, PM me also, I'd like to withdraw a few DERO that I've been accumulating

Noted, In next 3-4 days they will update their wallet/daemon to handle very large no. of transactions.

Hello everyone, Dero has updated to alpha6 which drops backwards compatibility with the old C++ daemon. We are asking everyone to please update right away to the latest version of Dero (alpha6) which can be found here: seeds.dero.io/alpha/

-

We are no longer offering ANY support for the old C++ daemon. Please consider this the official notice that an update is required.

-

This notice is equally important for pool operators, miners, and individual users. Thank you everyone!

Hmm, well, it's a very official sounding statement, I'll give you that. A bit light on some of what I would consider to be essential details starting with what is a network attack? I'm guessing it's not NiceHash, so perhaps an array of ASIC miners coming online on a private pool or even running solo? As the old tabloid slogan goes, "Enquiring* minds want to know!"

Its recent attack on CryptoNote coins. Many coins are affected. Hundreds of blocks are added in few minutes.

everyone feel free to move back to your normal pools if they're running the alpha5 daemon (check to make sure they're in sync with the official pool)

If i just mine to my wallet, should i restore it with seed, or i can continue mining and hold wallet files (can them be opened with next version of daemon)? I do not need coins right now, but it must be very sad if they miss.

Please restore from seed

Hello everyone

I have a doubt with my wallet of Dero, I have a version that is not the alpha but I synchronized well until recently, I sent my coins to the exchange and arrived well before, but from the last four days it does not synchronize well and I have 50 coins that I send but have not arrive at the exchange and in the wallet they mark them as pending or failed, in that case what do  I had to do ?, I already lost them ?.

I also have the new version that they recommended to download, but I am also realizing that it does not synchronize again and the balance did not appear, not the 50 coins sent or transactions appear, I sent 21 coins that already had the pool, send them and neither have come to the exchange, is there a problem with the network, should we continue mining now or not?

I attach some images of the wallet

Transactions

Daemon

Thanks

If you sent Dero to the exchange 4 days ago, please send the exchange a support request to see what happened there.

When you download the latest version of Dero and it syncs you will see your balance and transaction history update in the new wallet. You may have to recover your wallet from the seed or view keys (for now)

There are no problems with the network, there was an unsuccessful attack and for now we are asking everyone to mine on the official pool (pool.dero.live) we don't anticipate we will require people to mine here for long. Just a little longer until the remaining C daemon users update

Hello everyone we are asking EVERYONE to stop using their C daemons now. It does not matter which version of C you're on (v1 - v7).

This is NOW the time to switch to the golang version which can be found here: http://seeds.dero.io/alpha/
-
As of right now, we are no longer going to be offering any support for the old daemon (C++ version).

Can I instead compile the github version or is dero now binary-only with single pool?

For now download pre-compiled binaries from http://seeds.dero.io/alpha/
Feel free to use any pool make sure its synced with official pool/explorer etc.

DO NOT deposit or withdraw to either exchange for now. They have not yet disabled deposits/withdrawals.

Hello @everyone we are asking everyone to mine on the official pool (pool.dero.live) for now and to please make sure you're on the latest version of Dero (Version 1.0.0-alpha5+31032018) this is the NEW golang version. This can be found here: http://seeds.dero.io/alpha/

The official pool is on the same block for some time now, it won't change 557700, what is happening? is it just pool frontend or block is stuck?

This will happen for a little while after some of our network protections kick in. Blocks will start moving again and the emission times will still meet their averages  Smiley

This is the second network attack that Dero has successfully defended against (2-0) and we will continue to monitor this situation very closely.
