is stocks exchange deposits working? I've sent yesterday but it didn't receive yet

Stocks.Exchange is currently having some troubles on their end.

SouthXchange should be live soon and they have a more reliable system.

good project in my opinion, but we are very sad because we do not have tools to mine this coin,
what do we do for me to join this dero blockchain project?

thank you for your answers

**********************Progress update March.09/2018**********************

Hello everyone,

For those of you who may not know me, I'm very fortunate to be the community manager for the Dero Project. This is a progress update dated March.09/2018.

The Dero Project started a few months ago, well before I was here, with the ambitious goal of creating an entirely new blockchain technology based on the CryptoNote protocol written in golang (Go). I'm proud to have the honor of announcing that the Dero development team has moved from the writing phase to the private alpha testing phase. As some of you may already know, there has been a version of the new technology based on the CryptoNote protocol available for pre-alpha testing with limited functionality. We're now initiating the transition on our end that will complete in 3-4 weeks (on time) and end with a publicly available beta version of the CryptoNote protocol written in golang. We anticipate nearly all features of the CryptoNote protcol to be openly available with any remaining functionality to follow in a brief period of time afterwards.

With Q1 coming to a very positive end for the Dero team, I would like to briefly look forward at some of the goals the team has laid out for themselves in Q2 2018. The following are all pulled directly off the roadmap: GUI wallets,Subaddress support,Atomic swap,Smart contracts testing.

We've been asked many times about GUI wallets, smart contracts, and probably every feature that the team has announced in the whitepaper (https://github.com/deroproject/documentation/blob/master/WhitePaper.md). What I can tell you at this time is the team has been focused on meeting the goals that were directly in front of them. Now that we have a working implementation of the new blockchain technology there is a codebase to build a GUI wallet and other features off of. The GUI wallet is relatively easy compared with the core development and should not take long when the team is able to dedicate some time to it. Regarding other features mentioned in Q2 (including smart contracts), it's too early to discuss any specific details as we're not into Q2 but the planning phase has concluded with a well defined development path laid out.

We've been asked a lot about new exchange listings, often over a dozen times a day and we completely respect where your questions are coming from. With that being said, now may be the appropriate time to say that while we've been accepted on a new exchange, SouthXchange, and confirmed our listing, we realized during our inquiries that if Dero simply continues to meet its goals we have a warm welcome waiting at more than one reputable exchange.

Great to see your support and trust in DERO.
Thanks everyone.

Thanks CaptDero.  And thanks for the earlier merit, too!

It's not just the technical side of this coin that I like.  Also the community here.  It is refreshing coming here after all the trolling and negative diatribe and sometimes personal rivalries gone haywire you see on other altcoin threads, including many of the cryptonote ones.

Not only does this community seem alive and active, it is healthy and flourishing with very little negativity.

I also like the focus on just getting things right at this stage, without worrying about marketing and image and exchanges, listings, and market price.  (Though I think at a certain stage this will become increasingly important if the community wants wider uptake of the coin, right now we seem mostly a community of miners and we can't stay that way for ever.)

I think at this point we need a full RCA from the devs as to why forks are happening constantly. I’d like to know the technical reason behind these issues. Then maybe I, or another community member could help fix it. Is there going to be a GUI wallet also or only Daemon first running and then wallet.cli?

Hi, I just reported you for copy-n-pasting someone else's post:

I’m going to keep supporting this coin, but some transparency here would go a long way. Then maybe I, or another community member could help fix it.

Enjoy your upcoming ban!

DERO: Privacy + Smart Contracts

Dero at present is a code fork of Monero (Helium Hydra) with the Bytecoin CryptoNote protocol.
Dero will be a completely new blockchain technology integrating the CryptoNote protocol with new smart contract controls.
Dero is being rewritten from C++ to Golang (Google Language) to bring together CryptoNote and smart contracts on the Dero blockchain.
No ICO just hard POW mining Smiley

CryptoNote protocol implementation in Golang is now in testing and the Q1 roadmap is on track to meet its goals.

The fork issue has been resolved for 3 days. If you're still having errors, please send me a message and I will help you resolve it.

The GUI wallet is scheduled for Q2 after the network transitions to the golang implementation in 3 weeks. For now, the network is running on the old CryptoNote protocol written in C++. The code needed to be completed before it was possible to build a GUI wallet. Without the code there would have been zero functionality, just a GUI.

Hello everyone,

Stocks.Exchange has withdrawls and deposits enabled again, however, we would like to ask everyone to please not withdraw from Stocks.Exchange for a little while. Your Dero will not go missing but payments are getting stuck in Stock.Exchange's system.

When I have an update I will let everyone know. I'm testing their system with my own Dero periodically and should have an update soon.

Yes, withdrawal a lot of coins prior to seeing this message. The withdrawals are stated as working but just come-up saying 'finished' and with a TX ID but don't actually show in my wallet or the block chain explorer, example below transaction given:

http://dero.live:8080/search?value=9438a2a4606b7246b15de184c78a516c48dd1972796b9cb9c00643457831bedb

Opened another ticket, hope coins are not lost...

So far all of the Dero have been restored as they were not lost, it's just an internal error on Stocks.Exchange's end.

If you do have a serious issue, please let me know and I will assist you in following up with SE.
